    Kronos Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

    Summary

    • The Kronos Assistant will provide administrative and system support for the Kronos/UKG Time and Attendance system, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with workforce management processes, and effective support to HR, Payroll, and operational stakeholders. The role will also contribute to system maintenance, reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • Relevant 3 Year HR Degree / HR BTech Degree
    • Additional certifications or practical experience in Workforce Management systems will be advantageous

    Work Experience

    • Relevant qualifications and/or significant relevant experience in workforce management

    Knowledge

    • Kronos Workforce Central and/or UKG solutions
    • Advanced computer skills
    • Strong understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, attendance management, and workforce management processes
    • Knowledge of Kronos pay rules, pay-rule overrides, and exception management

    Registered Nurse x4

    Summary

    • Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital is recruiting for a Registered nurse – ICU to provide nursing care under the direct and indirect supervision of the unit manager, and within the scope of practice for a registered nurse.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Be able to work harmoniously as a team member ensuring allocated tasks are completed effectively
    • Provide comprehensive quality nursing care to patients, based on individualised patient needs
    • Ensuring that the ICU team functions within the guidelines of Infection Prevention Standards
    • Providing a safe patient area through effective and correct management of waste
    • Sound knowledge of costs and cost containment including economic use of stock and accurate charging of all items
    • Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external customers, and ensure all actions promote customer service excellence.
    • Assist in the effective management of staffing cost through adhering to all Busamed Gateway Private Hospital policies with respect to personal time and attendance.
    • Ensure clinical processes are in line with the policies and procedures of Busamed Gateway Private Hospital.
    • Serve as a clinical resource person to all members of the multidisciplinary team

    Requirements

    • Current SANC registration
    • Diploma in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science – Critical Care Nursing would be advantageous
    • Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation

    Work Experience

    • Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislation
    • Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry
    • Previous working experience in a ICU is essential
    • ICU working experience

    Knowledge

    Registered Nurse x4 -High Care

    Summary

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance to hospital standards and policies. The objective of this position is to act as a clinical resource and leader in this speciality, performing functions at an advanced level of competence and consistence. Sound and contemporary knowledge of the area of speciality, together with an advanced understanding of professional nursing, health care delivery and programme planning, will allow the incumbent to fulfil his/her primary responsibilities and promoting quality patient care.

    Requirements

    • Current registration with the South African Nursing Council.
    • Relevant qualification within a specialist area will be advantageous
    • Valid BLS and ACLS and/or PALS will be advantageous
    • At least 1 years working experience in an ICU / High Care / previous skills development training for specialised unit.
    • Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislation

    Work Experience

    • Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry will be advantageous
    • Relevant experience in ICU is essential
    • Cardiothoracic and neurology experience will be advantageous

    Knowledge

    • Computer Literacy advantageous
    • Fluent communication in English essential

    Ward Administrator

    Summary

    • The incumbent will be responsible for coordination of all secretarial & Billing duties in the ward as well as receiving all new patients, visitors and doctors. This individual will also be responsible for stock and all stock control within the unit. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • SAP Will be an advantage
    • Computer literacy

    Work Experience

    • Two or more years of experience in a private hospital would be advantageous
    • Strong interpersonal skills essential

    Knowledge

    • Answering the telephone in a friendly and professional manner
    • Taking messages for staff, patients and doctors
    • Admitting the patient into the ward
    • Ensuring the doctor and the patients’ families are informed of any transfers
    • Informing the patients’ families of discharges when requested
    • Ensuring that a Customer Satisfaction form is completed by the patient
    • Ensuring all billing is up to date on SAP by ensuring accurate data capturing
    • Ensuring all files are brought down to Billings as requested
    • Ensuring stock levels are at the required levels (stationery and ward stock)
    • Completion of stock cycle counts
    • Ensuring that the patient’s records are captured according the standard operation procedure for patient admission in the wards
    • Ensuring stock used within the unit is billed and SAP quantity balances with physical values
    • To manage the stock count processes and teams for stock takes
    • To provide operational support to hospital stock controller when need arises

    Marketing Manager

    Summary

    • Marketing Manager will be responsible for the Internal and External marketing of the hospital and Brand Management

    Requirements

    • Post Graduate Diploma / Degree in Marketing or equivalent NQF Level 6 is essential

    Deputy Nursing Manager

    Summary

    • The Deputy Nursing Manager oversees and coordinates all operations related to the delivery, promotion, and assurance of high-quality patient care.
