    Bending Operator

    Job Description

    • CFW Projects specializes in the design and implementation of turnkey systems for various aspects of catalyst production, drying and electromechanical systems.
    • In addition, we provide an array of design, manufacturing, project management and after-sales services.
    • The company employs a diverse workforce with a strong skill set in engineering.  We are currently seeking a Bending Operator to assist with the bending of various steel components.

     The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

    • Operate and set up bending machine
    • Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
    • Select proper tooling and adjust machine settings for material type and thickness
    • Perform bend sequence planning for accurate and efficient production
    • Inspect parts using measuring tools
    • Keep work area clean and organized

    Farm Supervisor (2IC)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a reliable, hands on Farm Supervisor (2IC) to support the day to day operations of Bakoorjakkalsdraai Farm. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership ability, practical farming knowledge, and a proactive approach to getting the job done.
    • As the second in charge, you will work closely with management to ensure smooth operations, supervise staff, and maintain high standards across the farm.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate general workers, including giving clear instructions and monitoring daily tasks
    • Provide regular progress updates and reports to management
    • Maintain overall cleanliness and neatness of the farm
    • Perform general gardening duties
    • Carry out tree removal and vegetation control
    • Prepare soil through digging and ploughing using a tractor

    • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, including assembly, fabrication, and layout.
    • Ensure all drawings comply with project, company, and ISO standards.
    • Interpret engineers’ design briefs and develop practical manufacturing solutions.
    • Attend design briefings and cross-check with engineers before finalising drawings.
    • Update existing drawings according to revisions and maintain accurate revision records.
    • Implement drawing revision control procedures and utilise document management systems.
    • Ensure adherence to ISO, company, and client standards, and stay updated on mechanical codes.
    • Communicate effectively with engineers, production, and quality teams; attend design meetings.
    • Complete drawing tasks within required timeframes and prioritise based on project deadlines.
    • Enhance drafting skills, software proficiency, and propose workflow improvements.
    • Support quality assurance by providing accurate drawings for inspections and dimensional checks

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • A tertiary qualification in draughting
    • Proven experience as a Production Draughtsman or Mechanical Draughtsman (preferably in fan or mechanical engineering).
    • Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
    • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and preparing detailed production drawings.

    • Arrange safety files of each installation and making sure that the team adheres to safety standards of each installation

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • A minimum of a matric certificate is required; a tertiary qualification will be considered an advantage
    • Proven experience in site management within mechanical or HVAC projects
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering plans
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
    • Ducting experience is a must
