What you’ll be doing
Assesses innovation investments, identifies value creation opportunities for existing and potential initiatives, recommends programs and define actions
Manages Collaborative Partnerships with Organization Unit and Franchise Stakeholders
Create/Customizes System Financial Guidelines and Ensures guidelines are applied within the Business Unit, Franchises while driving process improvement
Lead the financial evaluation of mid / long-term RGM initiatives and business strategies for the innovation projects. Understands and develop the system revenue strategic framework from yearly projections to the Long-Term
Develop and implement financial models, analysis, and reports for key customer, including but not limited to (P&Ls, Cash Flows, ROIs, Benchmarks, Executive Summaries, etc.)
Performs competitor’s financial analysis to support management in the development and implementation of relevant commercial strategies.
Experience Requirements
CA (SA) or Post Graduate Degree in Finance
5 years relevant experience in Financial analysis, Process Improvement or Project management.

The Coca-Cola Company has an excellent opportunity for a Resource Allocation Manager to join our team in South Africa. As a Resource Allocation Manager you will manage, oversee the significant marketing investment across the African continent. Focus will be on ensuring consistency in approach, analysis of returns and best-in-class business performance tracking. You will also be responsible for optimizing the use of marketing and investment ROI tools and metrics across all investments – Coca Cola and Bottler; as well as embedding a culture of clear financial accountability in each budget owner.

What you will be doing
Provide and explain key business and performance metrics to system (KO and bottler) business leaders to allow proactive and timely investments decisions, including reallocations of funds
Co-lead the implementation of best-in-class ROI tools and methodologies
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with budget-owners, mostly outside of finance, and align on the primary goal of maximizing investment returns
Recommend alternatives for the Operating unit/Franchises to meet or exceed its BP and RE commitments, including adjustment of investment decisions based on business performance and returns.
Coordinate with Platform Services to ensure proper investment allocation across category, brand and franchise operations so Operating Unit and Franchise Management can readily understand status of all spend (actual, committed, remaining).
Coordinate with Platform Services to drive operating effectiveness within the OU by improving data, tools and processes
Lead and coordinate the DMI ZBW process across the Operating Unit/Franchises, generating guidelines for DMI allocations at Franchise, Bottler and Customer level.
Provide resource re-allocations recommendations across the OU and Franchises, as well as across categories and brands, always based on fact based financial data to support the investment decisions.
Communicate to management business performance against specific KBIs.
Lead and coordinate the DMI ZBW process across the OU and support the alignment of DMI investments with FUs and Bottling Partners.
Experience
8 years of finance experience, preferably Financial Planning, Budgeting or Commercial finance
FMCG experience
CA (SA) accreditation is mandatory
Functional Skills:
Strong communication and influencing skills
Strong knowledge of Coca-Cola investment policies and procedures
Ability to work effectively in a networked organization
General finance know-how
Mastery of excel and other similar programs / tools

What youll be doing

Manages within the new network organization by recommending medium-term planning for the customer landscape or geography
Manages financial planning and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities; contributes to the achievement of the organization’s financial goals; carries out economic feasibility studies for investments in new products; prepares reports and makes recommendations to senior management about the financial implications of proposed investments and transactions; maintains positive relationships with the networked financial community
Perform financial analysis of projects related to Key Accounts clients, such as commercial agreements or new products, packages and SKU launches in a specific customer. Scope of work includes the tracking of P&L by customer and search for opportunities to leverage profitability.
Experience
CA (SA) Accreditation is mandatory
Experience working in FMCG’s
6 -8 years relevant experience in Finance Operations/and or Financial planning scenarios for portfolio management
Proven record of delivering results and leadership in complex matrix organizations; able to work with multiple functions including Marketing, Customers, Operations, Commercial Planning and Finance in both the Company and Bottler
Relevant experience on total Portfolio understanding, Consumer and/or Shopper financial-commercial implications, Category Management, Global-Regional-Local activation plans (innovation, portfolio execution, promotions, etc…)
Bottler and/or Customer Development experience advantageous but not essential.
