    • Compiling quotes
    • Running / managing projects
    • Reporting to Clients
    • Client Billing
    • Business and Product Development
    • Regular engagement with existing clients to monitor their needs with a view to increasing revenue
    • Strategic meetings with potential clients and industry stakeholders to secure new business
    • Research and development of new products with an emphasis on governance matters
    • Work with the marketing division to develop and refine marketing material

    Employee Relations Manager

    The Employee Relations Manager will be accountable for Employee Relations advice and coaching to leaders at all levels and to lead and direct employer-employee relationships which contribute to Computershare’s strategic goals. You will be a subject matter expert in providing support and expertise to global people change programmes and policy development, a well as managing complex case and change programme escalations.

    A key part of this role is also to enable Employment Equity (EE) transformation through the development of strategic initiatives aimed at achieving transformation beyond legislative compliance.

    This Includes, But Is Not Limited To

    • Development of Employment Equity related policies, strategies, plans, implementation-frameworks, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with BBBEE regulations
    • Proactively staying abreast of legislative changes, national and international best practice and ensure employer legislative compliance
    • Researching, benchmarking and implementing EE best practices

    What will you bring to the role?

    • Ideally, you’ll have extensive knowledge of People policies and practise, especially employment law and regulatory impacts. You will hold a relevant professional HR qualification or be able to demonstrate significant ER case management / litigation experience.
    • Excellent communication skills, such as establishing and developing strong trust-based relationships at all levels, through strong presence, gravitas, interpersonal and influencing. You’ll be practised in working as part of a team, be self-motivated to use your own initiative, and within strict deadlines.
    • Confidently lead and maintain relationships with employee representatives, forums, Works Councils and trade unions in respect of ongoing employment practices and people changes.

    What else are we looking for?

    • Ability to produce and analyse ER related data, in order to identify solutions
    • The confidence to deliver specialist advice and coaching to others, in order to implement processes and policies
    • Excellent organisational skills, with a methodical approach and an eye for detail are key to the role. It’s also important you can work to tight deadlines and meet or aim to exceed SLA’s.
    • Strong ethics and values, identifies and aligns to our culture.
    • Relationships will be built globally, therefore you must be willing to be flexible to work with remote teams within a global environment.

    Corporate Events Specialist - (220002RI)

    The successful candidate will support the business manager in contributing to client satisfaction by reconciling, balancing and monitoring all coprorate actions accounts by providing excellent client service for outsourcing.

    In terms of the legislative requirements these individuals are accountable to the board of the Company which they represent/advise with duties to include:

    • Maintaining corporate actions diary
    • Notifying broking clients of elective events.​​​​​​
    • Receiving election instructions and consolidate where necessary
    • Sending election to broker’s CSDP and/or transfer secretary before CSDP or transfer secretary cut-off
    • Processing manual share/cash adjustments /allocations where necessary
    • Adhering to documented controls and procedures

    What will you bring to the role?  

    Hopefully you will have grasped from all the above what we are looking for but let’s delve a little further. Ideally the Corporate Events Specialist should have relevant experience in the financial services environment with a motivation and appreciation of the varying demands of servicing a client portfolio in conconiling corporate accounts .

    Skills required for the role include:

    • +4 Years Equity Settlement experience
