    Operations Internship Programme

    The intention is to give practical work experience to students recently graduated, but are unemployed and require exposure in a work environment, or those in their last year of study and require In-Service Training in order to obtain their qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing 1 February 2020 and ending 31 January 2021.

    Key Learnings would include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Materials Handling
    • Quality Control
    • Logistics
    • Warehousing and Distribution

    To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

    • Suitable Tertiary qualification – diploma / degree
    • Good decision making skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
    • Analyse and generate meaningful insights from numbers & data
    • Ability to work in cross functional groups within the business unit.
    • Results and goal orientated, always able to meet deadlines.
    • Willingness to learn and make a difference.
    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, Power Point;
    • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a team.
    • Driver’s License is essential.
    • South African citizen.

    Human Resources Talent & Culture Internship

    The purpose is to provide practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study and require In-Service Training in order to obtain their qualification, and/or those recently graduated but unemployed who require exposure in a work environment.     Key Learning Areas include (but are not limited to): 

    • Executing and assisting with sound recruitment and selection practices
    • Involvement in  induction program for new employees
    • Effective participation in Talent Management processes
    • HR Administrative tasks
    • Understanding and assisting with Employee Relations
    • Service Delivery to all stakeholders

    To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

    • Excellent academic record and in final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – diploma / degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resources
    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
    • Sound communication and presentation skills,
    • Effective time management,
    • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities,
    • Attention to detail,
    • Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract. 

    Prospective interns must submit the following:

    • Covering letter / Letter of Motivation,
    • A Curriculum Vitae,
    • Certified academic record,
    • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate,
    • A format for evaluation, required by the tertiary institution should you require in service training in order to complete your qualification

    HR Internship Programme

    The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study and require exposure in a work environment or have a prerequisite to have practical work experience before qualification. The successful intern will be expected to enter into a 12-month contract commencing February 2020 and terminating January 2021.

    What will you be up to - 

    • Executing and assisting with sound recruitment and selection practices
    • Effective participation in Employee Performance and Talent Management processes
    • Perform a range HR Administrative tasks
    • Assisting with Employee Relations and Employee Wellbeing
    • Employee and stakeholder engagement
    • Assisting with HR related projects
    • Travel between Vineyards and Estates (Durbanville Hills, Stellenbosch, Paarl) to provide an HR service to staff

    To be brilliant in this opportunity you must satisfy the following criteria:

    • Final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – degree / diploma;
    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
    • Sound communication and presentation skills;
    • Effective time management;
    • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a team;
    • Valid Driver’s license with own transport; 
    • South African citizen;
    • Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract.
