    Team Lead: Data and Technology

    About the job

    • Our client, leaders in specialist risk insurance are currently looking for a well-rounded Tech professional to lead their Technology and Data team that manages the technology and data related projects.
    • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are well managed throughout the project lifecycle while contributing to and management of the organisation’s data model. Analyse business requirements and design related processes and solutions, identifying areas for improvement in business processes and support Digital Transformation initiatives.


    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors’ Degree with above average academic results would be beneficial
    • One of the following Certifications would be beneficial: PMP, PMI-ACP, Prince 2

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • 8+ years’ work experience in one of the following data related areas: Business
    • Intelligence, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Data Engineering, Data Science,

    Software Development

    • 2+ years’ work experience in managing a data team
    • Confident working in MS Office with a high proficiency in project planning tools such as MS Project, smartsheet etc
    • Experience with SCRUM in Agile projects would be advantageous

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving multiple client engagements to successful completion. 


    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly organised, deadline driven and possess strong financial and business acumen as well as solid analytical and problem-solving skills. The individual will be given an opportunity to operate in a rapidly changing environment


    Requirements

    Preferable: qualified CA(SA) with 1-2 years post articles experience within Corporate Finance or notable Corporate Finance experience
