    National Key Accounts Manager

    Job Description

    • Focus on Key Accounts and business growth in Mpumalanga, Gauteng, North-West, Limpopo provinces.

    Goals:

    • Maintain and growth Key Accounts and relationships.
    • Assist in achieving ADM premix volume targets by securing opportunities on a multi specie platform
    • Develop and grow ADM additive opportunities
    • Drive customer service excellence in line with growing the ADM brand and reputation

    Main Tasks:

    • Strategically optimize and secure opportunities
    • Updating of Salesforce on daily basis
    • Liaise with production team and CD&D to manage efficient deliveries and customer expectations 
    • In field customer support

    Responsibilities:

    • Sales and marketing of a range of specialty nutrition solutions in the feed industry.
    • Liaise with suppliers, producers, feed millers, consulting nutritionists and key influences in this dynamic sector
    • Stay up to date with independent research, market trends and business opportunities.
    • Take over some of the current ADM customer responsibilities

    Profile:

    • Location:  Based in Gauteng, Fourways office
    • Travelling required: Yes.

    Qualification :

    • Minimum of BSc Agriculture degree –Animal science.
    • Master’s Degree advantageous
    • Product and sales training will be provided by ADM.

    Relevant experience

    • 5+  years of related experience in the feed industry will be beneficial
    • Commercial experience advantageous
    • Computer literate and proven competency.

    Knowledge:

    • Multi specie knowledge preferred
    • Understanding of premix production and underlying quality risks
    • MS Office applications

    Orders Clerk

    Job Description

    • Role is to provide excellent customer service and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and speedily.

    Main Focus Areas:

    • Excellent customer relations
    • Stock Control
    • Sales Administration

    Typical Tasks:

    • Place Natal Depot orders at Brits factory for stock replenishment
    • Place stock order at Procurement for External RM warehouse
    • Reconcile weekly and monthly stock takes.
    • Investigate stock variances.
    • Ensure that oldest stock gets dispatched first.
    • Send weekly transport report to Logistics Manager.
    • Sending out of price letters to customers – premix and RM
    • Generate customer quotes.
    • Liaise with customers via phone and email.
    • Liaise with warehouse regarding dispatch of customer orders.
    • Book transport with service provider for delivery of stock
    • Receive manual note for warehouse.
    • Create sales order as per manual note.
    • Create delivery advice as per sales order.
    • Resolve all customer queries.
    • Ensure that invoice packs are stored correctly for auditors’ purposes.

    B2B Sales Account Manager - Specialty Food Ingredients

    PURPOSE:  

    The sales manager actively maintains and expands our food customer base in the region, drives customer projects and builds a solid project pipeline for sustainable business results.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Take responsibility food sales customers in the South African region, including the support of Key Accounts, distributor, regular Food Customers
    • Developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies within the East African market
    • Creating and fulfilling own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans
    • Controlling all sales activities with existing and potential customers
    • Establish and develop long-term customer relationships
    • Monitoring the market and identify market potential
    • Develop customer concepts in cooperation with product management, application and product development.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and  EXPERIENCE

    • Degree in any of the sciences, food science and technology or business administration would be preferred
    • Experience in the B2B food ingredients business, plant-based proteins and texturant would be highly appreciated.
    • Knowledge and commercial contacts to the Savory (Meat extension, Meat analogue, Snacks), Dairy and Sweet goods markets
    • Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within the region (50%)
    • Excellent English language skills. French or Portuguese will be advantageous.

    Technical Sales Representative

    Job Description
    Area of Responsibility:

    • Sales volume growth and development, as well as customer support functions, in Central South Africa (Free State, North-West, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape).

    Goals:

    • Maintain current key customers in Central South Africa.
    • Grow and develop the sales footprint in Central South Africa for ADM.
    • Provide basic technical customer support.
    • Develop and maintain the ADM additive market in Central South Africa.

    Main Tasks:
    Business Support:

    • Review and supervise all orders, customer requests, and technical support to fulfill customer requirements.
    • Provide basic technical, order, and planning support to customers.
    • Provide sales figures and statistics to the commercial team as requested.
    • Support sales and marketing functions.

    Sales Growth:

    • Expand the customer base in the region.
    • Increase sales volume in the region.
    • Develop a diverse sales mix (Premix/Additive/RM) to sustain margin growth and development.

    Project Management:

    • Upload Sales Force projects and tasks when required.
    • Maintain projects and status as needed.
    • Liaise with CD&D and the commercial team to ensure customer support requirements are met.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure customer support excellence and maintenance.
    • Drive growth and development of Premix & Additive volume.
    • Coordinate order placement and delivery.
    • Update Salesforce on a daily basis.
    • Provide feedback to the Commercial Manager and CD&D to ensure effective customer support.
    • Gain knowledge of the market and opportunities for premix and additive sales.
    • Develop ADM’s footprint in the region.

    Profile:
    Qualifications:

    • Matric (Grade 12) and a tertiary qualification such as a BSc in Animal Science.

    Relevant Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in animal science/nutrition and sales.
    • Residence in Bloemfontein (Central SA).
    • Ability and willingness to travel (Company-provided vehicle).

    Knowledge:
    Intermediate computer skills (MS Office package: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
    Skills:

    • Efficient in planning and travel.
