    Head of Product

    • As a senior leader, you’ll own the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market execution across our evolving product lines. You’ll be the driving force behind customer-centric innovation, working across teams to deliver solutions that delight - from startups to enterprise giants.

    Team and Leadership  

    • Build, develop and lead a high performance and learning culture that focuses on building capacity to deliver more and better in the future. A multiplier who harnesses and develops others to ensure the team work productively and are developed professionally with clear career paths. 
    • Being part of a high-performance team, it is essential that goals are well defined, communicated with the required buy in from the team so that they deliver on commitments.   

    Product Strategy and Vision  

    • Develop product and solution requirements, working backwards from the customer with primary focus on cross product experiences. 
    • Build core content and compelling assets to articulate buyer value, industry use cases, competitive differentiation, and benchmarking (customer case studies, videos, whitepapers, sales plays, presentations, how to guides, comparison tools, and more). 
    • Define and drive the short-, medium- and long-term product vision for Ozow in alignment with the overall business strategy. Set a clear long-term direction for our product suite and translate that vision into strategy, roadmap, and execution. 

    Customer and Market Fit  

    • Identify target market segments, segment sizing and ideal B2B customer targets, and design forward-thinking positioning approaches for each segment. 
    • Monitor the results of product launches, marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively. 
    • Establish customer and sales feedback loops to synthesize feedback and consolidate feature requests, providing category/industry/workload specific requirements to engineering and driving follow-up actions and communications. 

    Revenue and Growth  

    • Lead key partnerships. Own the commercial and technical relationships with card schemes, processors, banks, and fintechs. Influence partner roadmaps and negotiate terms that strengthen our position. 
    • Execute and track experiments to build community and grow consumption of services, including innovative pricing/packaging approaches, special offers, promotions, and customer adoption programs. 
    • Work effectively across Ozow with groups such as Commercial, Client Success, Solutions Architects to achieve business goals.  
    • Communicate the company’s product strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, etc. through multiple channels. 

    Platform Scalability and Resilience  

    • Scale and harden the platform. Work with Engineering to make payments more resilient, extensible, and efficient. Design for real-world complexity - market launches, system load, scheme changes, and edge cases. 
    • Optimise core flows. Redesign acquiring, authorisation, settlement, and reconciliation to reduce operational cost, improve merchant experience, and increase margin. 

    You are an ideal candidate if you have:  

    • 10+ years of relevant work experience in product management for B2B solutions plus at least 3 years in related fields such as product marketing, technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training. 
    • Proven leadership of strong product teams. You build clarity, develop talent, and set high standards for execution and impact. 
    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a relevant field of study. 
    • Experience delivering payment solutions.  
    • A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of management responsibility and a knack for driving and/or being associated with benchmark industry products/services. 
    • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution. 
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

    Product Manager - Card

    • As a Product Manager at Ozow, your role is central to the success of one of our payment processing solutions. You'll lead the charge in conceptualizing, developing, and refining our card acquiring services to align with market demands and surpass industry standards. 
    • Your responsibilities span the entire product lifecycle, from inception through launch and ongoing optimization. Collaboration with various teams across the organization, from technology and user experience to marketing and commercial, will be crucial to ensure a seamless integration of our offerings and a compelling value proposition for our customers. 

    Your role and responsibilities 

    Market Analysis and Customer Insights 

    • Continuously assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our card acquiring services.

    Product Strategy and Roadmap 

    • Develop a strategic roadmap that outlines the vision for our card acquiring products, including feature enhancements, new offerings, and expansion into new markets or verticals.  

    Cross-functional Collaboration 

    • Work closely with technology teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features. Collaborate with user experience experts to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Partner with marketing and commercial teams to develop go-to-market strategies and drive adoption of our card acquiring solutions. 

    Performance Monitoring and Optimization 

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our card acquiring products and regularly monitor performance against these metrics. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives.  

    Compliance and Risk Management 

    • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to card acquiring services, ensuring our products remain compliant and mitigate any associated risks.

    Customer Engagement and Support 

    • Act as a champion for our customers, soliciting feedback and actively engaging with key stakeholders to understand their needs and address any pain points or challenges they may encounter with our card acquiring solutions. 

    Training and knowledge sharing 

    • Provide comprehensive training sessions or workshops to educate different departments about the intricacies of card acquiring. Encourage knowledge sharing by facilitating regular forums, or collaborative platforms where teams can share insights, experiences, and lessons learned related to card acquiring. Foster a culture of continuous learning and cross-functional collaboration. 

    You are an ideal candidate if you have 

    • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
    • Minimum of 6 years of product management experience in the fintech or payments industry, with a focus on card acquiring or payment processing. 
    • Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, card networks, and industry regulations. Experience with API integration and SaaS products is a plus. 
    • Experience in fraud monitoring and prevention within the payment processing industry. Knowledge of fraud detection tools and techniques is essential. 
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. 
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
