    Purpose Statement

    • To create and optimise the end user computing environment for Capitec Bank.

    Experience

    Min:

    • 5+ years ICT experience in the end-user computing environment
    • 3+ years design and implementation of desktop hardware, software and management systems servicing the end-user computing environment in the enterprise

    About the role:

    Our ideal candidate would have experience in an analytical role in a dynamic, mathematically complex environment within banking or financial services. In this role you will be required to provide support to financial, credit and regulatory reporting functions through modelling and forecasting OR credit pricing and capital requirement calculations for Retail and/or Business Banking products.

    What you will bring:

    A completed honours or master’s degree in Actuarial/Statistics/Mathematics or similar.  Along with exposure or experience in provisioning as per IAS39 and IFRS9, forecasting and budgeting with advanced statistical analyses and financial mathematics. In addition, killer SQL/SAS/Python skills.
