    Subject Head: Social Science Curro Academy Pretoria

    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

     

    • An appropriate academic and professional education qualification.e.g BeD.
    • Relevant experience in teaching Geography (Grade 6 and 7), Natural Science and Technology (Grade 6 and 7).
    • Must be able to coach Soccer and Rugby.
    • Current SACE registration.
    • CAPS curriculum experience.
    • A clear criminal record.

    The responsibilities are:

    • Plan, control, record and report on assessments.
    • Attend meetings, forums, workshops for the grades/phase as required.
    • Create an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
    • Take responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the class.
    • Work closely with the teachers in the grades/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades/phase.

    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

     

    • Educator must have a teaching diploma/ degree for the relevant subjects.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in teaching Afrikaans FAL
    • Must be registered with SACE and have a valid SACE certificate.

    • IEB experience 
    • Must be technologically savvy and experience in hybrid teaching will be an added advantage.
