    Sales Executive - Rooi Rose

    The successful candidate must be able to:

    • Sell print and digital advertising
    • Determine the target audience
    • Conduct research to understand client and business needs
    • Source and maintain new clients/leads
    • Inform the potential client of the brands and its benefits
    • Develop an “angle” to affirm the relevance between product/service and publication you represent
    • Close a deal

    Requirements for the position:

    • Preferred, prior telemarketing and/or “customer service” experience is a plus

    Team Lead: Technical Systems Operations

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with development teams, project managers, designers, and other departments to ensure the efficient deployment and operation of technology systems.
    • Lead efforts to maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our technology infrastructure.
    • Monitor system health and performance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact project deadlines.
    • Serve as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing guidance and assistance in resolving technical challenges.
    • Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines are met and technical requirements are aligned with business goals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among teams to optimise technology operations and project execution.
    • Collaborate with the CTO to define and implement technology strategies that support the organisation's objectives.
    • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to the CTO, highlighting technology operations, challenges, and recommendations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
    • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing technology operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with technology infrastructure, software development processes, writing code and project management methodologies.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
    • Experience in implementing and optimizing technology processes and workflows.
    • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
    • Leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Sales Executive - Daddy's Deals

    Key accountabilities:

    • New business development – cold calling, lead generation, negotiating and closing.
    • Management of existing / repeat business including deal re-negotiation, renewals and exten-sions.
    • Meeting monthly financial and non-financial sales targets set by the business
    • Tracking leads, sales and managing client database and contacts.
    • Setting up appointments, running meetings.
    • Writing and presenting proposals.
    • Must also be willing to drive around the city and province to visit and meet with potential merchants. This is not an email-only job.

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record of sales targets met and/or exceeded.
    • Minimum 3 years sales experience in new business development and at least 1 year of ac-count management experience.
    • Ideally experience in revenue generation within the tourism / hospitality / lifestyle space. This position could also appeal to those who have experience within the digital sales space.
    • Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the digital space, including content marketing and direct marketing.
    • Ability to address business owners, marketing managers, revenue managers and any other high-level decision-makers.

    Personal Attributes:

    • High-level commercial thinker with the ability to educate clients, new and retained, on how to incorporate the business platform into their overall, integrated marketing communication mix.
    • Creative and conceptual – must have the ability to generate promotional/deal ideas (this is not just a straight sell).
    • Personable and professional with great communication skills.
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; ability to express ideas, with correct grammar and punctuation; ability to convey commercial sales pitch face to face.
    • Strong listening skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Able to work independently whilst also engaging with team members

    Junior Graphic Designer - Cape Town

    Key role functions and requirements.

    • Conceptualize campaigns in producing style guides and visionary story boards.
    • Curating style guides that would display designs for all platforms.
    • Design all digital graphics for use on social media, web banners, paid media assets and mailers.
    • Establish, maintain, and organize a marketing database of images, photographs, videos, and collateral.
    • Compose and distribute emails campaigns, structured as digital ads/promotions and newsletters.
