The purpose of this position is to continuously monitor, react and control all equipment and operational processes in line with required parameters to ensure safe and effective operation of the production plant according to control philosophies, operating procedures, and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Control and monitor all process equipment through information received from the Scada system
- Act and respond promptly on process defects as indicated by the Scada system
- Coordinate Process Operators and Attendants on the shift to act promptly on process defects
- Report abnormal and unusual conditions immediately
- Monitor and record process parameters such as flows, pressures, levels, and temperatures to ensure effective operation
- Interact and communicate with all process and engineering staff
- On instruction call-out appropriate maintenance staff
- Complete production log-sheets
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Evaluate and analyze process parameter trends and make proactive changes to ensure continuous process stability
- Communicate loss of production or process instability to Shift Supervisor
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Certificate Mineral Processing Level 2 or equivalent Minerals Processing qualification
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Process Operator, preferably within the hydrometallurgical mineral processing industry
- Minimum 2 year’ experience as a Control Room Operator
- Froth flotation process operational experience would be advantageous
- Knowledgeable in the requirements of the MHSA
- English language proficiency

Description
The purpose of this position is to assist with housekeeping and engineering maintenance activities under instruction from the artisan/supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lifts, holds, positions and supports parts and materials being worked on, manually or with appropriate tools as required
- Assists with dismantling and re-assembling of components as per instruction
- Loads and off -loads materials and parts onto and from transport vehicles, as required
- Lifts, carries and moves materials to and from storage areas by hand or non-self-propelled equipment
- Assist with installations and breakdowns where services are required under instruction from the artisan or engineering supervisor
- Performs general housekeeping duties
- Perform observing role when instructed by Artisan / Engineering Supervisor, e.g. fire watch check for burning conveyors or checking pipeline for leaks

- Leading the process of costing and compiling client proposals, making necessary adjustments to ongoing contracts. This involves crafting and submitting tenders for both internal and external stakeholders and participating in client meetings as required.

- Executing annual Contract Price Adjustments (CPA), updating costs for existing contracts, and managing all related correspondence. The role acts as the primary liaison with clients on contract issues, collaborating closely with the legal department to finalize contracts based on proposals.
- Maintaining and promoting the company's brand identity across various channels, managing corporate gifting, and enhancing internal branding efforts. The role also involves participating in marketing activities such as conferences, exhibitions, editorials, advertising, and client entertainment to boost brand visibility.
- Engaging in client meetings and presentations, exploring new projects and markets, and identifying new business opportunities within existing contracts to drive business development.

- Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within Head Office
