    Administrative Officer – Undergraduate (Grade 10)

     The main purpose of this position is that the incumbent is responsible for organizing the Undergraduate administrative activities. Provide general administration support to the department. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgement and initiative.
    Brief Description        

    • Required Qualification Competencies, Knowledge & Skills 
    • Matric 
    • National Diploma/or Degree 
    • At least 3 - 5 years of Work Related Experience 
    • Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors) 
    • Computer literacy essential (MS Office, Access, Excel, e-mail and internet) 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written 
    • Demonstrated ability to display initiative and attention to detail 
    • Sound organisational skills and ability to work under pressure 
    • Experience in a general office environment 
    • Knowledge and understanding of university procedures 
    • A high level of computer literacy (including Activity Management System,, Excel, SIMS and Microsoft Office & Outlook) 
    • Maturity & professionalism 
    • Time management 
    • Minute Taking Duties 
    • Updates Almanac Circulates to relevant divisions 
    • Manages Student Allocations & Exams preparation GEMP Ill and GEMP IV 
    • Managing the marks for GEMP Ill and GEMP IV (Graduate Entry Programme) 
    • Foreign Elective Students Administration 
    • Manages Departmental Administration
