    Human Resources Intern - Herolim Private Hospital

    Description

    • A vacancy exists for a Human Resources Intern, reporting to the Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the HR team in various administrative and operational tasks which include but are not limited to recruitment and selection processes, industrial relations, employee record maintenance and employee training

    Critical Outputs

    • Maintain and update employee databases and HR files with precision and confidentiality.
    • Assist in advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews by communicating with the shortlisted applicants.
    • Assist in preparing onboarding documents/Welcome packages for new employees
    • Schedule and conduct orientation for new employees.
    • Draft and format HR-related documents such as employee contracts, memos or reports.
    • Support the planning and execution of internal HR events such as training or any related employee engagement activities.
    • Provide day-to-day assistance to the HR teams, including filing and data entry.
    • Assist with taking minutes at any meetings held that are HR related.
    • Attend promptly and politely to all human resources related queries from internal and external customers telephonically, in person and in writing as appropriate.

    Requirements

    Description

    • A vacancy exists for a Patient Administration Manager reporting to the Finance Manager. This role is responsible for the management and coordination of patient administration resources, processes and operations to achieve quality service and optimize the facility’s profitability.

    Critical Outputs

    • Management of the total patient administration function including Case Management, Billings, Collections and Reception, i.e., tariffs/tariff structures, authorisations, LOS on confirmations, identify financial risks, co-payments, etc.

    • Knowledge of hospital billing system and tariff structure will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in private healthcare environment.
    • Knowledge of fixed fee and private packages.
    • Relevant completed course in ICD and CPT coding.
