    Workshop Technician (Millwright) - Jetpark

    Main Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Work safely within a workshop environment 
    • Adherence to SHEQ policies and procedure
    • Service, maintenance and repair on Epiroc's new and used equipment 
    • Carry out modifications and software updates on batteries and chargers 
    • Component rebuilds and repairs
    • Carry out high level repairs on batteries 
    • Fault finding and problem solving
    • Ability to work well with others in a team
    • Carry out service, troubleshooting and repairs as per OEM standards and requirements. 
    • Compile service and failure reports. 
    • Completing warranty and upgrade claims
    • Timekeeping and tracking of labour
    • Keep record of all repairs
    • Communication to product manager
    • Completing Pre delivery inspections and tests for new batteries and chargers

    Required Skills and Capabilities:

    • Mining equipment (surface and underground) product knowledge and experience
    • Grade 12 or equivalent  with a Trade qualification (Millwright)
    • Strong problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure
    • Read and understand schematics, including knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Commitment to providing quality customer service
    • Advanced report writing skills 
    • Specialized expertise, ingenuity, and takes pride in solving technical problems
    • Drive, determination, self-discipline
    • Accountability and dedication to maintaining standards of quality and accuracy

    Regional Sales Manager - RGD

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    • To provide exceptional leadership to the sales and marketing team in order to maximise the individual's and team's potential and productivity.
    • To create a pleasant, productive, and inspiring working environment, maximizing effectiveness in the team.
    • Manage the Territory Management Strategy ( TTM ) for RGD considering the fleet and potential sales throughout the region.
    • Expand our customer base by increasing sales with new customers.
    • Support the drive to establish the RGD client profiles in SalesForce for live interaction and collaboration between divisions and stakeholders i.t.o. opportunities and sales close out.

    Operational Excellence

    • Improve profitability based on good price management and functional cost efficiencies.
    • Continuous improvement in working capital management (inventory and receivables) with the highest focus on aging stock and overdue receivables.
    • Ensure we have the necessary processes and policies in place, that are adhered to according to ‘The Epiroc Way’.
    • Responsible for the P&L of the RGD Division in the region.
    • Meet and exceed the customer’s expectations on problem resolutions.
    • Support the sales force in their selling efforts. This will include the preparation of quotations, product application studies, tenders and sales support material.

    Competences, Skills & Experience:

    • 5 - 10 years exposure to the sales and business development environments of the drilling / mining industry
    • Technical product application knowledge of rock tools and aftermarket services
    • Proven track record in sales and team management expertise.
    • Demonstrated business management experience.
    • Ability to motivate and mentor large teams across broad geographical locations.
    • Demonstrated track record in leading and driving a positive safety culture.
    • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with customers.
    • Strong focus on optimisation of employee engagement.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Computer literate.
    • Willingness to travel extensively across the country as required by business development.
    • Valid code 08 driver’s licence.

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Grade 12
    • Tertiary qualifications in engineering and / or commerce or business administration will be an added advantage

    Customer Feedback Management:

    • Handle customer feedback
    • Investigate and resolve quality issues.
    • Communicate resolution plans to customers.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Audits and quality assurance activities.
    • Provide updates for management review.

    Health, Safety & Environment:

    • Ensure workplace safety and compliance with health and safety rules.
    • Report incidents and near misses.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.

    • Extensive experience within the industry; manufacturing experience is an advantage, or similar.
    • Experience of safety and sustainability management in an industrial setting.
    • Deep knowledge of South African laws within the area.
    • Deep knowledge of relevant ISO standards and how to implement and maintain them.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
