    Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Administrator - S2

    The Role:

    • Working as part of an integrated and collaborative People function focused on driving business success, this role is responsible to ensure that all talent acquisition administrative duties are executed in a timely manner and that the onboarding process for all new employees are consistent to ensure a smooth process and enhance the employee experience.

    Key Performance Areas:

    To support the Talent Acquisition team with administration:

    • Obtain approval for all pending job requisitions and initiate approval on Workday timeously.
    • Follow up on all job requisitions and give feedback to the relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist managers in creating job requisitions.
    • Support in drafting job adverts and advertising on Workday.
    • Conduct applicant screening interviews.
    • Arrange interviews with candidates.
    • Compile, print and issue interview packs.
    • Ensure that all interview data is updated in Workday and that all interview packs are received.
    • Launch psychometric assessments and track progress.
    • Conduct Reference checks and pre-employment checks in ensuring that the AFIS checks are done and the BI files are closed timeously.
    • Compile and ensure that all documents are in order for the successful candidate’s file.
    • Ensure that all payments for the Service Providers are processed and paid.
    • Ensure that all filing is completed.

    Execution of Workday Transactions

    • Ensuring that all transactions pertaining to hiring are updated and completed timeously.

    Onboarding activities

    • Ensuring a consistent onboarding experience for all new employees by creating a positive, warm and welcoming experience.
    • Prepare and send “New Starter” packs and new employee documentation to ensure that all new employees receive everything they need to start on or before their first day in their New Starter pack
    • Ensure follow up with the manager prior to employees first day as well as on/after first day.
    • Processes medical aid for new employees and assist with transfer.
    • Assist new employees with Momentum (Portal information/registration)
    • Follows up and ensures that all new employees have been loaded.

     
    Talent Acquisition Reporting

    • Develop and track a weekly report on pending Job requisitions and follow up on approvals.
    • Develop and track a weekly progress report on pending hiring transactions.
    • Develop and track a monthly recruitment metrics dashboard i.e. late hiring transactions, hiring transactions, onboarding experience survey, approval transaction report, talent hub analytics etc.

    Your Profile:

    • Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification
    • Diploma/Degree in human resources or working towards
    • 3 years HR experience
    • 3 years Recruitment experience
    • Experience in a role that requires administration. strong planning, and organizational skills
    • Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service.
    • Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and self-auditing abilities to ensure accuracy
    • Quick to adopt new practices to increase efficiencies and systems integration

    Parts & Services Sales Representative (PSSR)- P1

    The Role

    • To apply and use knowledge of sales process and tools to support front line sales representatives in promoting and selling the organization's products and services within assigned geographic area, product range or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Identifies prospects and assists with the preparation of presentations.
    • Develops sales skills and knowledge of the products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative to promote products, close orders and resolve problems.
    • Maintain and update the Core database with details of customer activities.
    • Develop understanding of machining practices and processes utilizing modern tooling systems and how ’s product portfolio meets the market needs.
    • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
    • To support field sales reps with product testing and related tasks to ultimately support additional sales and market share gains.
    • Gather and compile data, tool testing comparisons, competitive information, and cost comparisons.

    Profile Required

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
    • Diploma/Degree in Business Management or Engineering field
    • Experience in Customer Service/Order Management/Order-to-Cash
    • Sales, Customer-facing and Account Management experience
    • Experience with Collections/Accounts Receivable
    • Reports & Presentations drafting & delivery
    • English proficiency
    • Afrikaans proficiency (advantageous)
    • Experience in Mining/Earth-moving Parts environment (advantageous)
    • Willingness to travel 70% of the time

    Service Technician x6 - S3

    The Role:

    • To service and/or maintain Mining equipment through machine availability, customer relation and safety, health and environmental effectiveness.
    • This service is rendered to Sandvik clients (internal and external) this position is for a Service Technician position permanent on site, representing all Sandvik fleet. (D45KX, DR580 and DI650i Drills)

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Install, repair, inspect and commission products and equipment of different kind at customer site or own premises.
    • Report and document results after above actions.
    • Responsible for plan, conduct and maintain tools and equipment for service work.
    • Support the customer’s product/equipment/processes by suggesting possible improvements.
    • Provide technical support to the sales team.
    • Provide problem solving to customer.
    • Ability to produce positive results in sales-client interventions.
    • Guide colleagues in service methods and tools.
    • Share own knowledge to enable colleagues to expand their knowledge.

     Your Profile:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
    • Trade Certificate, Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Millwright (accompanied by apprenticeship contract or apprenticeship portfolio of evidence)
    • Minimum 5-year experience working as Service Technician/Field Service Technician with proven competence as Earth moving equipment Technician in the above-mentioned field
    • Basic Computer literacy
    • Own set of tools
    • English proficiency
    • Code 08 license
    • Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment Experience in:
    • Fault finding / electrohydraulic / auto electrical / hydraulic / PLC, remote control offerings
    • Surface mining environment, maintaining of earth moving equipment

    Portfolio Specialist - GET, Buckets & Fire Suppression -M1

    The role 

    • To focus on the sales and inventory management of the GET, Buckets and Fires Suppression portfolio.
    • Be the key interface between the Operational Areas / Territories as well as support Parts Sales and Service Representatives, Customers Sales and Service Representatives, Technical Solutions Providers, Account Managers. 
    • Ensure the portfolio readiness, provide competitive insights and development plan for sustainable growth to ensure an adequate sales opportunity funnel to support revenue expectations and drive future sales revenue targets. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Be the key contact person in the Sales Areas to support the portfolio offerings.
    • Ensure all relevant portfolio offering information (including offering make up and combinations, technical material, marketing/branding material etc.) is current, available and distributed to sales teams in a timely way. 
    • Support Business Line with strategic business plan and implementation thereof in collaboration with the sales force and the operations team 
    • Align with regional pricing team to ensure pricing for each offering is within pricing guidelines as part of the quoting process 
    • Manage changes and updates to portfolio specifications after initial introduction to Sales Areas 
    • Provide training and updates to sales personnel to transfer knowledge and understanding of portfolio offering

    Your Profile

    • Sales related qualification with Business Management
    • Mechanical engineering with a sales background in the similar field 
    • Ability to understand market conditions with the ability to find sustainable growth opportunities (market share analysis)
    • Responsibilities are forecasting of stock, quotes, lead times and travelling within the sales area.
    • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis to assist on queries (technical or commercial)

    The Role:

    • Share own knowledge to enable colleagues to expand their knowledge.

    Your Profile:

    • Grade 12/N3 technical /equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4)
    • Section 13 or 26D Trade: Mechanical / Electrician / Millwright (trade to be accompanied by proof of apprenticeship) 
    • Experience on the D45KX, DR580 and DI650i will be advantageous
    • Trade certificate as a Millwright will be advantageous
    • Computer literacy: Excel, Word, Power Point, Maximo
    • English proficiency
    • Experience with PLCs, CAN bus, ethernet, automation/navigation equipment, Wi-Fi and Fibre Optics
    • Advanced training in hydraulics will be advantageous
    • Relevant mechanized mining experience (5 years)
    • Underground/surface mining environment
    • Maintenance of earthmoving equipment in a mining/construction environment
    • Condition monitoring experience

    The role:

    • The IT Network Engineer ensures that network related incidents in our IT production environment are recorded, and the correct process is followed and adhered to. All incidents need to be monitored to closure.
    • The IT Network Engineer is accountable for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks within an organization. They ensure the smooth functioning of communication and data transfer systems, enabling businesses to operate efficiently and securely.

    Your profile:

    • 10 years experience managing medium to large enterprises.
    • Cisco certified.
    • Cisco routers, firewalls, AP’s
    • CCNP Qualification (NQF 6 or 7)
    • English proficiency
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Physical & Medical ability to function in an underground mining environment
    • May be required to travel
