    Group Revenue Manager - Port Shepstone

    Responsibilities include:                           

    • Leads Channel and Revenue Optimisation strategy
    • Establishes working relationships with all OTA
    • Creating packages and promotions in line with company strategies
    • Monitor, measure, and analyse OTA campaign performance metrics
    • Collaboration with marketing and web developers to ensure the resorts websites are optimized
    • Stays current on emerging channel technologies, providers, and trends to maximize revenue
    • Reporting, budgets & forecasting
    • Managing back-office reservation finances

    Position Requirements:

    • 5 Years relevant working and management experience
    • Strong numerical and Excel skills essential
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
    • Revenue Management Qualification or experience essential

    Yield Controller - Port Shepstone

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Online reservation support (written & telephonic)
    • Assist in the delivery of hotel/resort revenue and profit growth by maximising revenue through effective pricing strategies, implementation of achievable revenue plans and production of historical data.
    • Maximise room revenue through both average room rate and occupancy percentage through efficient Revenue Management processes
    • Maintain all pricing within PMS and third party distribution channels
    • Ensure correct rate positioning is achieved across all market segments
    • Complete regular analysis of competitor rates & developments
    • Develop and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective third party distribution accounts
    • In conjunction with Marketing, provide special offers and information for various media channels
    • Complete and monitor monthly forecasts
    • Keep an up to date knowledge of the marketplace / demand generators
    • Special projects
    • Weekly and monthly reporting 

    Position Requirements:

    • Matric essential
    • Analytical
    • Experience in online connectivity via various booking channels advantageous
    • Timeshare and or points-based club experience advantageous
    • Experience in revenue management
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Computer literacy (Excel required preferably advanced)
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
    • Ability to plan, organise and adhere to deadlines
    • Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships at various levels and across different roles in the organization

    Housekeeper – Dolphin View Cabanas

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for the standard of housekeeping as set by the Group
    • Supervising and allocating staff duties and staff administration
    • Issuing, recording and controlling stock of consumable, stores and linen and equipment
    • Duties include telephone, office administration, reservations and handling guest related queries

    Requirements:

    • 3 Years supervisory experience in a Housekeeper position
    • Computer literacy skills including Excel, Word and Hotelier
    • Valid drivers license
    • Own transport
    • Must be prepared to work public holidays, week-ends, as well as be available for standby duties.
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication skills
    • Must be prepared to work week-ends & public holidays, late evenings and call outs

    Entertainment Manager – Dikhololo

    Key Performance Areas:

    • To be pro-active and use initiative with customer service and complaints.
    • Ensure prescribed standards are maintained in terms of maintenance, security, marketing, public relations, operations, and hygiene within the prescribed working area and especially with regard to all guest entertainment facilities & equipment.
    • Up sell all Resort areas including promote brand to business, events, communities, schools, charity and other
    • Responsible for and ensure a high level of personal service & be highly visible to guests & staff alike.
    • Responsible for and to ensure that pleasant, friendly, and helpful behaviour is maintained at all times.
    • Always maintain the highest standard of appearance and skills, according to Company Policy

    Requirements:

    • Matric or Grade 12 (Compulsory) including Child minding (Advantage)
    • Valid Driver’s Licence
    • Experience in Theme Park, Cruise Liner, Children’s camps, Hotels and Resorts entertainment – leading kids and family games and activities  
    • Experience leading and motivating a team.
    • Computer literacy and Audio-visual expertise  
    • Familiar with Health, Safety, Security including First Aid  
    • High energy levels with a passion for working with the public & particularly children.
    • Experience working within a multi-cultural environment and multi genders.  
    • Prepared to work outside of normal office hours including working on public holidays, weekends and during high season periods.
    • Bilingual in Afrikaans & English
