    Sous Chef

    Criteria of the role:

    • Formal culinary qualification from a recognized institution (ICA, Capsicum, Silwood Kitchen, or equivalent)
    • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong practical training for newly qualified chefs
    • A strong level of computer literacy
    • Knowledge of fine dining, modern plating techniques, and kitchen management
    • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential
    • Additional language skills (Afrikaans or other) are advantageous
    • A team player with a warm and engaging personality 
    • Own transport essential, preferably residing within the hotel's service area

    Procurement Officer

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Work with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements
    • Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practices
    • Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
    • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
    • Monitor orders to ensure components are supplied within contractual timescales
    • Communicate any delay or potential delay on orders to the relevant stakeholders

    Required Education / Experience:

    Coffee Machine Technician

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of coffee machines
    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure minimal downtime
    • Performing preventive maintenance to enhance machine longevity
    • Installing and setting up new coffee equipment as required
    • Providing technical support and training to clients on machine operation

    Criteria

    • Technical certification in equipment maintenance or a related field
    • Experience in machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
    • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Good communication skills and a customer service mindset
    • Proficient in English and Afrikaans

    Creditors Clerk

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Bookkeeping Diploma or equivalent advantageous
    • A minimum of 3 years experience with creditors
    • Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
    • Proficiency in accounting software, Omni Accounts would be advantageous but not essential.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

    Duties will include but not limited to:

    • Reconciling supplier statements to the accounts payable ledger and resolving discrepancies
    • Preparing payment runs
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date creditor accounts, including contact information and payment terms

    Debtors / Creditors Clerk

    Key Responsibilities:

    Debtors (Accounts Receivable):

    • Process and maintain customer invoices and statements.
    • Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
    • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
    • Generate debtor reports and provide status updates to management.
    • Assist with credit applications and background checks.
    • Handle customer inquiries related to accounts and payments.

    Creditors (Accounts Payable):

    • Process supplier invoices and verify supporting documents.
    • Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
    • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and payments.
    • Prepare and process month-end reconciliations and reports.
    • Liaise with suppliers regarding account queries.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proficiency in accounting software Xero will be an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial transactions.
    • Qualification in the relevant field will be an advantage.

    Vehicle Stock Controller

    Technical Sales Representative

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Driving new business development within the Western Cape region
    • Building and managing a strong customer portfolio and identifying new business opportunities
    • Conducting site surveys, assessing customer requirements, and providing tailored HVAC solutions
    • Preparing and following up on quotations while maintaining accurate sales records
    • Collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute business strategies

    Bookings Clerk (Motor Industry)

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Senior Certificate - Grade 12
    • 2-3 years relevant industry experience
    • Fully Bilingual (English, Afrikaans) – a third SA language would be an advantage
    • Motor dealership industry experience is essential

    • Appointment Scheduling: Use dealership management software or scheduling systems to book appointments, ensuring efficient allocation of service bays and technicians' time.
    • Service Recommendations: Provide customers with recommendations for routine maintenance based on mileage, manufacturer guidelines, and vehicle inspection results.
    • Confirmations and Reminders: Confirm scheduled appointments with customers via phone, email, or SMS and send appointment reminders to reduce no-shows and ensure timely arrivals.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of appointments, service requests, customer information, and service histories in the dealership's database or CRM system.
    • Coordination with Service Department: Liaise with the service department to ensure they are adequately staffed and prepared for scheduled appointments, including parts availability if needed.
    • Upselling and Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products based on customers' vehicle maintenance needs and dealership promotions.
    • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, addressing concerns or complaints promptly, and following up with customers post-service to ensure their expectations were met.
    • Administrative Tasks: Assist with general administrative duties such as filing paperwork, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other dealership staff, including service advisors, technicians, and parts department personnel, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to customer service, vehicle servicing, data privacy, and consumer rights.
    • Training and Development: Stay updated on dealership services, vehicle models, maintenance procedures, and industry trends through training sessions and self-study to enhance job performance and customer interactions.
