Responsibilities

• Monthly New sales Revenue Target achieved and targeted subscription renewals completed.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy that identifies all government departments as opportunities, maps out the timelines to approach & close with the appropriate product offer that has likelihood of success (Feb)
• Create a list of all subscription renewals for which you are responsible and develop a strategy to ensure timeous renewal of all subscriptions.
• Review the entire list of contracts due to be renewed during the year, order by value and month of renewal [ as per the CRM Subs Renewal Opportunity list](Feb)
• Together with AAM, develop and implement the annual visitation and interaction plan, by month and by key contact person, that will facilitate the smooth and timely renewal of each contract (including setting all meeting dates, etc. a minimum of 3 months in advance of renewal date) (Feb)
• Together with product trainer, develop & implement the annual user training program that will deliver on improved customer usage levels and familiarity and trust in the products (Feb)
• Update the CRM Subs Renewal Opportunity status (weekly)
• Review sales and subscription renewal strategy monthly, assess progress and amend as necessary (Monthly)
• Review sales report (actual versus target) as prepared by AAM, identify missing orders for correction and compare shortfall to pipeline to assess achievement. Develop remedial strategies to make up any projected shortfalls (Weekly)

• Demonstrate the ability to spot commercial opportunities, with a successful customer services and sales support background. Have excellent communication skills essential, as well as time management and planning.

• Have excellent Product (Print/Online), Domain and Market knowledge and experience of adopting new products.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze impact of new legislation/rules on existing statutory/rule content and effectively communicate all primary law changes and additions, including contingencies, postponed treatments, unusual provisions, and multiple amendments.
• Review and ensure proper editorial workup of new legislation; resolve outstanding issues; review section notes written by editors.
• Acquire a firm understanding of editorial processes, jurisdictional style guidelines and employ best practices.
• Effectively communicate legal and editorial knowledge to internal and external customers.
• Address internal and external customer concerns and questions regarding our primary law content and conduct and/or participate in content quality review and audit.
• Assist with customer feedback follow-up as needed and requested by the Practical Guidance content team.

• Regularly participate in professional development and training.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal degree, and Attorney admission
• At least one to two years of editorial experience, preferred but not required
• Excellent command of English language
• Strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, a positive attitude, and professional demeanor employed in routine contact with geographically diverse colleagues, and customers.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to adapt to changing business demands
• Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask to meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to quickly learn, retain, and become proficient in new software packages and technical skills including XML mark-up language and MS Office suite.
