    Girls Senior Prep English Teacher

    Role Overview:

    • The English Teacher will inspire girls to explore the power of language and literature with confidence and curiosity.  You will develop their skills in reading, writing and oracy, while nurturing a lifelong love of stories and creative expression within a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Teach English (Grades 6 – 7)
    • Ensure that lessons impart a love and competence in English
    • Plan and teach interesting and engaging English lessons
    • Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values
    • Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Tertiary qualification
    • SACE registered
    • At least 3 - 5 years teaching English at a Prep School level

    Girls Prep Sports Coordinator

    Role Overview:

    • The Sports Coordinator is responsible for managing the complex logistical landscape of our Girls Prep Sports Department. This is a vital administrative and operational role focused on the seamless execution of our physical education and co-curricular programmes, as well as providing hands-on coaching in various sporting codes across the Girls Prep.

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Responsible for the planning and running of all Sports demonstrations and sporting events
    • Provide weekly communication to parents on all sport-related activities across the Girls Prep
    • Host coffee mornings and parent meetings relating to sport
    • Coaching and officiating where necessary (weekdays and weekends)
    • Engage and inspire girls, encouraging a love of physical activity and sportsmanship
    • Select, train and monitor coaches

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Tertiary qualification
    • SACE registered
    • A minimum of 2 – 3 years in a similar role
    • 3 years of physical education teaching experience working with prep school children
    • Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes
    • Must be a proficient swimmer
    • Accredited swimming qualification (LTS) would be advantageous
    • Own transport would be advantageous

    Boys Senior Prep Sports Teacher

    Role Overview:

    • The Sports Teacher will guide boys of all skill levels in developing a love for physical activity and sports, while nurturing confidence and a lifelong passion for sports in a supportive, encouraging environment.

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Teach Physical Education and Sports lessons as per the academic timetable
    • Involvement with the Junior and Senior Prep Sports Programme – coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
    • Coach and umpire as required
    • Assist with all Sports Demonstrations and Sporting Events
    • Assist with teaching certain academic lessons

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification and SACE Registration
    • Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes
    • Own transport would be advantageous

    Alumni Officer

    Role Overview:

    • The Alumni Officerwill be responsible for growing, engaging and managing the St Peter’s Prep Schools alumni community.  You’ll shape and implement the community engagement strategies and build lasting connections with our Old Boys and Girls, as well as the wider school community. 

    Duties (not an exhaustive list):

    • Develop and implement strategies to engage and grow the Alumni network.
    • Plan, organise and manage alumni events, reunions and milestone celebrations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date alumni records and databases.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with alumni, parents, and the wider school community.
    • Create and manage alumni communications, including newsletters and social media updates.
    • Collaborate with the Foundation and school leadership to support community and stewardship initiatives.

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A tertiary qualification that includes formal training in communication skills
    • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ proven experience in community management, alumni relations, marketing or stakeholder engagement
    • Proven experience with database management and digital communication platforms
    • A personal connection to St Peter’s Prep, together with a strong understanding of the school’s ethos, values, and traditions, will be a distinct advantage

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Proven event planning and project management skills
    • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build authentic, long-term relationships
    • Creative and strategic thinker with attention to detail
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
