    Marketing Executive

    We are looking for a marketing professional who will be responsible for implementing the business plan with assigned customers, leading planning & execution through key account teams. You will drive and support the growth plan of the assigned categories across Southern Africa, from building the strategy, creating and spreading the value proposition, and investing to drive growth.

    The position is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and report to the Marketing Director.

    What Will You Do!
    As a Marketing Executive you will:

    • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver on the business delivery plan
    • Identify, drive & implement market-based growth opportunities for assigned customers through integrated understanding of category, consumers & customers in alignment with market company business priorities
    • Identify customer needs & support the key account team in line with business strategy, category, portfolio, customer plan & deployment
    • Build strategic relationships with assigned customers and ensure customer satisfaction
    • Deliver in depth understanding of broad data sets and market trends, to identify insight and growth opportunities for assigned customers, categories and prioritized geographies
    • Support account plan development in alignment with market company priorities 
    • Support package design, market research, channel strategy and product/ solution deployment
    • Participate in developing actions and initiatives, marketing activities, marketing services and promotional investment
    • Support account teams with articulating value propositions based on value chain profit analysis and value research

    Who You Are!
    We believe you have:

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in FMCG
    • Strong track record in marketing or sales environment
    • A university degree in Marketing or similar
    • An Honours or Master’s degree will be an advantage
    • Ability to build professional relationships with different levels of stakeholders
    • Analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making abilities
    • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
    • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
    • Motivated, detail oriented and adaptable
    • Great organisation, time management and prioritization abilities

    Processing Director

    What Will You Do!

    • Drive sustainable profitable growth in processing solutions according to agreed market strategy and market plans
    • Drive efficient Deal/Opportunity Management CE Processing (decision to quote/accept price, margin, risk and resourcing) following the defined thresholds and agreed prioritizations in the market and cluster
    • Ensure compliance to Tetra Pak Processing Pricing Strategy, Commercial processes, policies and tools.
    • Execute local sales strategies for all categories and ensure capabilities in accordance with approved targets
    • Ensure efficient Channel & Customer Management (incl. lead, opportunity & pipeline management, account planning, sales coverage & target setting)
    • Drive efficient cross functional Strategic and Key Account Management in the market for Processing
    • Drive product deployment including Key Component sales in the market
    • Ensure that key messages are delivered and understood by engaging employees in dialogue, actively sharing and seeking feedback.

    Who You Are!

    • University Degree business/Engineering– MBA is preferable.
    • 10-15 years of experience in Food Processing and Packaging industry in similar role.
    • Proven track record of Processing sales and business development.
    • Experience in value-add selling of product offerings.
    • Fluency in English language is requirement
    • Fluency in Portuguese will be an added advantage.
    • Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID- EE targets apply.
    • Driver’s licence and Passport. Willing and able to travel extensively (both nationally & internationally).
    • Strong business & marketing understanding. 
    • Solid communication skills. 
    • Strong analytical skills.

    What Will You Do!
    As a Marketing Manager you will:

    • Identify, drive & implement market-based growth opportunities for assigned customers through integrated understanding of category, consumers & customers in alignment with market company business priorities

    • Secure business alignment with customers and improve customer satisfaction

    • Identify account-level growth opportunities for assigned category & present the case study for market and customers

    • Support account teams with articulating value propositions based on value chain profit analysis and value added benefits
    • Co-create innovation pipelines with customers to define and launch products that will address the different market needs

    Who You Are!

    • Minimum 5-7 years experience in Category Management, Marketing or Sales in B2B environment
    • University degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent. MBA a bonus
    • Proactive and pragmatic attitude with a strong hands-on, getting-things-done mentality
    • Excellent English (speaking/ writing)
    • Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Good leadership and influencing skills
    • Strong business and commercial acumen

    Future Talent: Project Engineer

    What Will You Do!
    Our Future Talent Programme - Technical Track is a 18 month programme that will develop your engineering skills and bring you leading technical knowledge in an accelerated way.

    From day one, you’ll be delivering results as part of the team and hold an actual position. Your manager will plan the content of your programme and support you in your development journey. You will work in various parts of Tetra Pak and gain experience from a network of Colleagues all over the world. And that is just the beginning of your Tetra Pak career.     As Future Talent: Production Engineer, you will:

    • Participate in validation/ reviewing technical solutions for engineering.
    • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements.
    • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety.
    • Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
    • Comply with all reporting requirements.
    • Develop basic technical solutions and project documentation.
    • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained.

    Who You Are!

    • Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Chemical).
    • Not more than 2 year of work experience.
    • Attitude and Flexibility is key .
    • Must have an innovation mindset; must be a fast thinker and like to solve problems.
