    A well established IT Specialist Recruitment entity within Cape Town is seeking an experience Operations Executive to ensure  that the operational objectives of the business are met in order to support the overall company strategy. The incumbent will need to lead a performance-driven team who are aligned to the company values. Integrates operational systems and developments to enhance company competitiveness. Manages the efficiency and effectiveness of operational management processes across the Resourcing division including service quality and cost efficiency. Ensures business growth through directing and leading business operations activities in accordance with the company strategy.

    Job Purpose:

    • Predicts changes and identifies trends that will impact the future of the industry (Recruitment Industry)
    • Analyses, identifies, evaluates and prioritises requirements and deliverables.
    • Anticipates, recognises and meets the needs of customers, accepting responsibility for maintaining the highest level of standards and developing and sustaining productive relationships.
    • Defines and drives a culture of high service delivery and client loyalty strategies to retain and reward high value clients.
    • Ensures that client strategies as well as appropriate processes are developed and executed to drive service delivery excellence and build client loyalty.
    • Ensures that the recruitment and selection strategy is ever evolving, aligned to client requirements and the changing market context.
    • Ensures that there are effective processes aligned to candidate profiling and client needs.
    • Understands the features, benefits and critical differentiators of the Paracon offerings to ensure that new business is sourced and therefore expanding the client database and attracting candidates to the company brand.
    • Evaluates the efficacy of employment checks, provider relationships and screening to ensure that services are delivered timeously and that quality indicators are in place and monitored.
    • Acts in an ambassadorial role representing the business specifically in the relationship between candidate and the company as well as, between the candidate and the client.
    • Focuses on building and maintaining a client-oriented approach which understands the needs of candidates and translates such needs in order to improve service delivery.
    • Prepares and manages annual budgets and forecasts for the division, taking into account company priorities and input costs.
    • Manages operations initiatives within budget parameters by implementing and monitoring financial controls.
    • Drives an ongoing reduction of expenditure and an increase in revenue.
    • Interprets financial variance trends across fiscal years to identify and address areas of concer
    • Manages the collection of outstanding amounts from the clients by continuously following up and ensuring that all payments are up to date.
    • Reviews and approves all client costings to ensure alignment to margin parameters.
    • Conducts cost-benefit analyses to ensure the cost efficiency and effectiveness of operational services

    Prepares and submits the following reports to Management:

    1. Financial reports (monthly)
    2. Pipeline reports (weekly)
    3. Margin report management against gross profit and turnover (monthly)
    4. New business (monthly)
    5. Income statement approval (monthly)
    • Contributes to the development and refinement of the company’s vision and strategy.
    • Supports the overall process of management and corporate decision-making to ensure that the company maximises its short, medium and long-term profitability and returns to shareholders.
    • Identifies information gaps and gathers the required information to understand strategic issues.
    • Organises information and data to identify and explain major trends, problems and their causes. Compares, contrasts and combines information to identify underlying causes.
    • Establishes an implementation plan by identifying the key tasks and resources necessary to achieve desired objectives.
    • Ensures that the team executes developed strategic initiatives, monitors results and adjusts as required
    • Build, Maintaing and Grow Existing and New Client Relationships 
    • Ensures operations compliance with relevant legislation, company policies/SOPs and corporate governance requirements.
    • Team/Staff Management and Leadership (To support to growth of the bottom line) 

    Qualification & Job Experience

    • Min 5-8 years experience in a Management role
    • 5-8 years Industry experience 
    • Experience with IT Recruitment is essential 
    • Experience Leading and Managing Large Team is essential 
    • Must have a Matric
    • Must have relevant tertiary qaulification (Diploma/Degree/Management Development Programme)

    Business Analyst - 3 month Contract

    Description

    To research, analyze and evaluate requirements for existing or new software applications and designs, develops, tests and maintains software solutions. Constructs and implements software platforms at Application and enterprise sub-system level and understands system functionality at enterprise sub-system level. Object-orientated as well as functional programming mindset and will generally be proficient in two or more programming languages and adheres and works with the tech lead to develop and evolve standards within the team.Understands and interprets complex technical system specifications.Participates in JAD sessions.Designs, codes, and tests and debugs programs according to program specifications.Produces technical and user documentation.May have responsibility for supervision and mentoring of trainee and more junior Programmers.Has responsibility for quality code walk-through.Understands working as part of a project team.

    • Understanding of JMX Metrics for deep dive fault finding

    • Oracle, PostgreSql and other relational databases (experience in non-relational databases will be advantages)
    • Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
    • Proficient in source control tools
    • Proficient in task management tools such as Jira
    • Experience with containerisation (Docker)
    • Experience with Linux (SSH, monitoring logs, etc)
    • Experience in ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana advantageous

    Required Qualifications/ Experience

    • Degree or Diploma in Software Development or Computer Science
    • 5+ Years Software Development/Programming Experience[HR1]
    • Significant experience could replace the need for formal education.
    • Mentoring software developers
    • Experience in SDLC
    • Experience in Jira and Confluence or other ticketing system
    • Experience in Databasease Design
    • Experience in the Financial Sector would be advantageous
