    Customer Campaign Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To manage all campaign management activities in accordance with the strategic operating plan. To identify the best use of customer data requirements that maximises campaign response and report back to key stakeholders on all campaign and data initiatives in accordance with agreed timeline.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage and implement the customer plan
    • Tracking & measurement of marketing direct customer campaigns, on time and within budget
    • Collect and use data to evaluate existing campaigns and to inform new campaigns
    • Ensure PEP’s brand and identity are adhered to in campaigns & in all direct communication channels
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaign strategies, maximise campaign responses and identify gaps and opportunities to improve the customer experience and communicate to all key stakeholders
    • Liaise with Customer Insights analyst in respect of data enhancement to ensure that the integrity of the customer database is maintained
    • Run the internal “Know your customer” campaign and implement the program as per business needs
    • Brief external partners like agencies and others to assist with the running of the program

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    A graduate with a passion for Customer, Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, Statistics with an added qualification/short course in these related areas.

    • 3-5 years’ experience in campaign management
    • Experience in running retail campaigns
    • Solid knowledge of managing a marketing campaigns calendar
    • Retail and loyalty background will be preferred
    • Relevant legislation relating to customer data, CPA POPI
    • Advanced computer literacy skills - Google Suite

    Sourcing Manager (Western Cape)

    Purpose of the job

    The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for consolidating the sourcing function and activities for PEP. The aim will be to develop new sourcing opportunities for Clothing, Footwear, Homeware (CFH) and General Merchandise. The incumbent will be responsible for improving service delivery and unlocking value in the existing local and international supply base through driving scale, synergies and process improvement projects. The successful candidate should have access to a wide network of CFH suppliers in SA and Internationally with a strong knowledge of the local market. Knowledge of international sourcing will be advantageous.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Develop, agree and implement a local and international sourcing strategy for PEP
    • Perform market analysis and complete data gathering to develop/ support procurement decisions and strategies
    • Analyse significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures
    • Develop processes, templates, and set performance metrics for sourcing engagements 
    • Develop, implement and manage a strategy around BEE and local Supplier development including programs supported by Government
    • Build, organize and lead a sourcing team to effectively engage with buyers and suppliers to deliver the required outcomes.
    • Assume full responsibility for performance, striving for excellence with a desire to be part of a team
    • Gain an in-depth understanding of the business requirements and design sourcing strategies and actions to service these business requirements
    • Assist Head Buyers as they manage on-going supplier relationships
    • Work with internal subject matter experts (e.g., Legal, Tax, etc.) to create contract structures which maximize PEP’s return for current and long-term supplier relationships.
    • Drive increased value through direct negotiations and other sourcing methods with new and existing suppliers.

    Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant tertiary qualification
    • 5 years’ experience in direct Sourcing, Procurement and/or Contract Management  
    • Comprehensive knowledge of contract negotiation and sourcing methodologies
    • Advanced understanding of finance, supply chain, sourcing, and or procurement 
    • Experience in complex contract negotiations, including varied pricing structures, cost plus methodologies and tiered rate cards
    • Ability to apply business and management principles involved in strategic sourcing
    • Ability to develop, cultivate and maintain complex working relationships 
    • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast paced complex changing environment
    • Communicate information in a clear, well-organized and professional manner
    • Ability to engage & influence at a senior level
    • Willingness to travel

    Data Capturer: Overheads

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 

    • To capture and match all stock related invoices with goods received to enable payment

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Capturing invoices
    • Accurately detecting and reporting of discrepancies
    • Handling queries 
    • Filing invoices
    • Ad hoc reporting

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 (with Accounting)
    • Relevant experience tertiary qualification (Finance related) will be an advantage.
    • SAP experience will be an advantage
    • 1 year clerical experience in a finance department will be an advantage
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office and/or G Suite)

    Business Manager - Cellular

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    To effectively manage the entire account portfolio in alignment with PEP’s Cellular Department Strategy. Stakeholder and general relationship management Competencies are key in managing outputs which ensure sustained product and portfolio growth in alignment with the department strategy.  As a portfolio and product owner, all  Cellular projects will be successfully implemented within scope, time, and cost parameters.

    The incumbent will be required to carry information well between the account they manage and PEP, to ensure continuous alignment. Communication, execution and the ability to organize your workload will assist you to succeed in this fast paced environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage Multiple Product lines across different Product categories within the scope of the portfolio
    • Negotiate, liaise and build constructive relationships/contracts with service providers/suppliers
    • Identify and introduce new or variation of current concepts to business
    • Compile detailed business cases for current and potential initiatives
    • Guide and give inputs to the marketing plan of a product/portfolio
    • Develop and communicate product processes and procedures to all field personnel
    • Provide strategic inputs to assist with the department’s strategy and growth plans
    • Manage ad hoc projects 

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 with commercial tertiary qualification
    • 3-5 years of related work experience in managing Key Accounts
    • Computer Literate (MS Office, Ms Excel). Google Sheets will be advantageous.

    Schoolwear Administrator

    Purpose of the job 

    • To support the Schoolwear specialist in all aspects of the school department. This includes costings, BPL as well as product management (sampling, order management and follow up). 

    Key responsibilities 

    • Creating, confirming and managing of Supplier quotes 
    • Monthly BPL view of all products and capturing.
    • Updating and maintaining all School costing sheets 
    • GP Study creation and maintaining.
    • Build supplier relationships.
    • Product development and managing projects (i.e new fabrics, product improvements)
    • Administration of the sample process (i.e fabrics testing, monitoring progress, sending reports to suppliers)
    • Assist in reviewing Fits/PP samples with QA when the buyer is not available and communicate with supplier.
    • Ensure product consistency between seasons.

    • Follow up on deliveries and shipments.
    • Maintaining the sample room
    • Input of promotion details
    • General administration: handling of queries, capturing orders, filing, etc.

    • Planning responsibilities: Style and SKU creation, creating orders and managing ratio’s.

    Required knowledge, background and skills

    • Relevant Tertiary qualification
    •  3 - 4 Years administrative experience
    •  Experience in a Buying environment will be advantageous

    Customer and Insights Data Analyst

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    Be the custodian of Customer Insights and retail  product performance through the use of data . Create and evaluate business opportunities through the analysis of internal and external data. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Extract and analyse market data, to understand and present category insights and shifting trends.
    • Track the effectiveness and success rate of promotions using both internal and external data to identify gaps and opportunities in execution to improve ROI.
    • Using external data to understand the dynamics of a PEP customer from both purchasing and demographic perspectives.
    • Drive Market Research projects - both Qualitative and Quantitative - give input into proposal, questionnaire design, analysing outputs and creating reports 
    • Assess customer opportunities, analyse competitor behaviour and interpret retail strategy 
    • Provide a data/insight-driven plan to develop and build category and overall business objectives 
    • Analyse data to identify prospective opportunities and conduct the related due diligence 
    • Support wider business in compiling relevant case arguments using available insights and market data
    • Direct PEPKOR DNA in the development of dashboards for the use of tracking and trending customer behaviour and Brand Insights

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3-year diploma/degree (BComm or Marketing) 
    • At least 3 years’ retail experience  in market research or insights
    • Working knowledge of data analytics tools (data studio, tableau)
    • Experience in developing management reports within a Planning/Sales environment as well as generating key insights from them. 
    • Knowledge of statistical software ( e.g. SPSS, SAS, Sequel, Python) would be an advantage 
    • Computer literacy – MS office and/ or Google- Suite
