    Manager Technical - (549)

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy for hard services to minimize downtime, optimize performance, and extend the lifespan of equipment including planned preventative management and optimizing the performance of the value chain. Preventative, condition based, statutory, routine and breakdown and incident maintenance will form part of the strategy.
    • Team Leadership: Lead a team of technical and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and quality standards. Drive a competent and committed workforce, operating in an ethical and values driven manner.
    • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure necessary parts, equipment, and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to service level agreements including meeting BBBEE procurement standards.
    • Budgeting and Planning: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance activities, forecast expenses, and strategize cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations governing all hard services systems, staying updated with changes and implementing necessary adjustments including drawings and layouts.
    • Emergency Response: Establish protocols and procedures for handling emergency situations, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to operations during system failures or breakdowns.
    • System Optimization: Optimize total cost of production. Identify opportunities for system upgrades, retrofits, or replacements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and energy conservation.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance schedules, and expenditures to inform decision-making.
    • Occupational Health and Safety: Ensure safe, reliable and predictable operations to achieve zero harm. Fulfill the role of Supervisor of Machinery including related regulatory compliance. Maintain OHS files and institutionalizing learnings.
    • Facilities Condition Index (FCI) and Assessments: Manage the relative hard services condition of the buildings based on the conditions and assessments of the different building components.
    • Asset Management: Identify all Mechanical & Electrical Assets for buildings, verify physical existence, record location of asset, tag any untagged assets and determine the condition of the assets. Cross-check for and reference the assets to the existing asset register. Review (and collate other required information pertaining to assets, such as purchase dates) and sign-off of asset register. Update, manage and review planned preventative maintenance per hard services assets.
    • Helpdesk: Manage all hard services logged calls within service level agreements including permit to work compliance.
    • Data Centre support: Ensure all hard services data centre support is managed efficiently and according to service level agreements.
    • Standby: The business has a 24 hour operation and after hour standby forms part of the duties. After hour work due to the business nature forms part of the role to ensure no downtime of operations. 
    • Sustainability: Ensure operations drive green building standards.
    • Task delivery: Perform maintenance tasks with the technical team. Specialist tasks not stipulated by this role can be outsourced.
    • Stakeholder relations: Build and enhance relationships, teamwork and collaboration with key stakeholders. 

    QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE

    • Minimum BSc Eng. Or B. Tech Electrical Engineering with Wiremans Licence. Advanced degree or relevant certifications can be advantageous.
    • 5+ years of experience in hard services maintenance and management roles, preferably in a large-scale commercial setting.
    • Compiling service level agreements for operational efficiency.
    • Good knowledge of SANS, National Building Regulations and OHS Act among others.
    • Good knowledge of various building contracts applicable to the building services industry i.e., JBCC, Procsa, etc.
    • Computer literate with all Microsoft Office Packages (Projects, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) including various maintenance management systems.
    • Knowledge and experience of CAD, CMMS software among others will be advantageous.
    • Drivers licence essential.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Proven leadership experience in a technical role.
    • Relevant certifications and licenses.
    • Strong knowledge of hard services, electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.

    External Events Specialist - (543)

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Ensure adherence and add input to the effective and accountable processes around events that meet the needs of the business
    • Ensure that events practices are aligned to marketing deliverables and business requirements
    • Ensure that events are aligned to the brand strategy
    • Identify trends and opportunities aligned best practices around events
    • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions to solve business communication challenges
    • Identify and scope opportunities for improvement / innovation
    • Deliver campaigns that are aligned to the company and brand values and standards
    • Events meets the needs of the business and effectively communicates the intended messages
    • Ensure effective use and selection of relevant platforms

    • Ensure that events are implemented and aligned to strategic business initiatives

    QUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE

    Legal Counsel - (546)

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Provide simplified business-focused legal solutions to complex matters
    • To provide excellent Legal services, including general legal advice, to BankservAfrica
    • Managing contracts, negotiating contract terms and conditions, supplier management, and all associated matters
    • Provide regulatory analysis and develop positions to represent BankservAfrica’s interests in the payments industry
    • Assist in necessary legislative research as required

    Network Engineer - (547)

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Work in a team ecosystem that supports a complex network design consisting of various vendor technologies
    • Find solutions to malfunctions, while making sure that the designated computers and network equipment stay functional

    Scheme Governance Manager - (548)

    Your key responsibilities include:

    Scheme Committee Leadership 

    • Management of the scheme committee / steerco governance, chair / lead, set and manage mandates, processes, meetings and communication structures 
    • Co-ordination of meeting objectives, purpose, parameters and leadership there-of. Ensure appropriate engagement by (and with) members, facilitate inputs and decisions that drive outcomes. 
    • Facilitate discussion and resolution of issues as needed

    EXPERIENCE

    • Experience in Payments/Banking/Financial Services industry

    Your key responsibilities include:

    Brand Communication:

    • Ensure that all brand awareness communications align with the brand and represents the key message adequately and accurately

    Brand Custodian:

    • Ensure that all artefacts developed are aligned to the brand specs and that all co-branded use of the brand adheres to the brand rules
