    Role Purpose

    Gain an in-depth knowledge of the Administration system developed on the ISeries. Understand business requirements and ensure that these are designed and developed according to specifications within per-defined architectural guidelines.


    RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS

    • Design and develop systems on the iSeries
    • Liaise closely with the system architect to ensure that alignment with overall system architecture is achieved.
    • Understand the overall system design sufficiently well to be able to estimate the impact of new requirements.
    • Develop and implement systems according to business requirements.
    • Interact with IT Team members, business analysts, process owners and users to gather, interpret and understand business requirements

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • An IT related degree OR DIPLOMA (B Sc or B Comm.) will be preferred.
    • RPG, DB2, and ISeries accreditation will be preferred
    • At least 3 years as an RPG Developer, preferably in the financial services industry

    HC Copywriter & Events Co-Ordinator

    About the job
    Role Purpose

    • Collaborate with HC team and business on the end-to-end management and implementation of HC events and writing of adhoc comms in line with the Group Finance and Group Risk People Strategy and engagement plan.


    Responsibilities and work outputs:
    Marketing and Communication

    •  Collaborate with the Marketing Manager in the implementation and execution of the connection plan for Group Finance and Risk Management aimed at increasing employee engagement and connection in the evolving world of work.
    •  Brainstorm and implement creative and innovative engagement and eventing solutions for Group Finance and Risk Management across the Human Capital (HC) value chain e.g. coffee and connect sessions.
    •  Deliver high quality employee brand experiences through events ,and activations and project delivery.
    •  Create a positive work climate and culture that energises employees and maximises employee productivity.
    • Assist with writing adhoc comms for internal use, and critiquing briefs from internal clients before actioning.


    Operations and Project Management

    •  Project co-ordinate and implement HC operational and project solutions within the set timelines, standards and relevant HC frameworks.
    •  Provide input into the operational and eventing risks identified for Group Finance and Risk employees.
    •  Ensure understanding, adherence and communication of IT, HC and Operational policies to employees.
    •  Monitoring the implementation of relevant action items (i.e. operations, projects, events , communications etc.) from the HC Operational forum in collaboration with the HCBP's and HCA's.


    Engage with clients in a client centric manner (Client Services)

    •  Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal/ external stakeholders.
    •  Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
    •  Make recommendations to improve client service within area of responsibility.


    Contribute to financial controls and planning (Finance)

    •  Track and administer the events budget and report on expenses.
    •  Contribute to the development of area specific budgets to minimise expenditure, in alignment with operational plans.
    •  Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
    •  Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Diploma in Events management
    • Degree in Marketing or Public Relations (preferred)
    • 3-5 years' experience in end-to-end event co-ordination, copywriting ability, project management and working in cross-functional teams
