    Regional Customer Manager - Pick N Pay - Grains and Bakeries

    Customer

    • Ensure customer metrics are achieved through negotiation and delivery of regional elements of joint business plan
    • Drive service levels with incremental improvements by working closely with the customer and supply chain teams

    • Negotiating and loading of regional/national deals to be completed on relevant PepsiCo system, timeously
    • Pricing claims to be resolved as per audit and control timelines    Resolving any issues and challenges faced by customers and dealing with complaints to maintain trust
    • Playing an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
    • Preparing regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics. 

    Qualifications

    • Relevant 3 yr tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing

    • This position is central to designing and implementing the overall strategy for the bakery business. The GM oversees every aspect of the operation, from production to distribution and sales, with direct management of the processes involved in making, moving, and selling our short shelf-life products.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for complex mechanical, electrical, and automation- related breakdowns on critical bakery equipment.
    • PLC Programming & Automation: Program, troubleshoot, backup, and restore PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, and others). Perform regular backups and maintain version control of PLC programs.
    • VFD / VSD Management: Set up, install, configure, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) across production lines.
