    Trainee Engineer - Production

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct Line Balancing and Time Studies for establishing accurate Labour Standards.
    • Improve Material Flow.
    • Ergonomics, Layout and Assembly Improvements.
    • Conduct Continuous Improvement Studies.
    • Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis with Corrective and Preventive Actions.
    • Capacity Studies.
    • Jig and Fixture Design.
    • Man Hour Calculations.
    • Implementing, executing the improvement projects that were studied and handing over to production. Key responsibility is execution of all studies / designs / improvements mentioned above.

    Skills & Qualifications: -

    • BSc / B Eng. / B Tech Relevant Engineering qualification
    • Self-Starter.
    • Be Analytic and Deductive.

    Sr. Specialist – Industrial Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To Reduce Production Man Hours and Factory Transformation Costs.
    • Improve and Optimize Production Processes, Ergonomics and Line Layouts.
    • Performing line balance studies.
    • Lead continuous improvements on especially labor efficiency in processes.
    • Trigger investment, automation projects and co-lead them and handover to process owners.
    • Study lay-out improvements for any opportunity for improvement.
    • Design and improve the tracking and reporting process to monitor KPI’s. Especially productivity, man-hours.
    • Jig and fixture designs and improvements to increase efficiency of processes.
    • Improve material handling and process flow of current processes.

    • Perform feasibility studies.
    • Perform lay-out studies.
    • Capacity studies.
    • Study jigs/tools/fixtures needed for new product projects.
    • Design material flow for new processes.

    • Evaluate manufacturing, delivery, customer experience, or other systems and identify and IMPLEMENT ways to improve productivity and quality.
    • Monitoring Production Performance against set Standards and recommend Corrective Actions.
    • Perform Feasibility Studies for new investment projects.
    • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement recommendations for improving productivity or performance.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • B Eng. / BSc Eng. Industrial Engineering.
    • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in Industrial Engineering preferably in Durable Goods, Automotive Industry.
    • Must have proven Engineering ability to Reduce Waste and Improve Productivity.
    • Self-Starter.
    • Be Analytic and Deductive.
    • Hands on. Role is expected to be actively on site to witness, analyse processes and implement improvements and handover them to Production Processes. Execution of ideas and projects is the main skill expectation of the role.

    Head – Tooling & Design

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive tooling and design strategy aligned with business objectives.
    • Lead and manage the tooling and design team, fostering innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration.
    • Oversee the development of high-precision tools, dies, and fixtures to meet production and quality requirements.
    • Lead the design, testing, and validation of tooling, dies, and molds for new and existing products.
    • Ensure tooling solutions meet required specifications, tolerances, and performance standards.
    • Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop detailed designs and ensure manufacturability.
    • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related challenges.
    • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
    • Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs for tooling assets.
    • Identify opportunities for design improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
    • Work closely with R&D and product development teams to support new product introductions.
    • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for tool manufacturing, modifications, and material selection.
    • Partner with quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
    • Develop and manage the tooling and design budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
    • Evaluate and approve tooling investments based on return on investment (ROI) and long-term business impact.
    • Drive cost reduction initiatives in tooling design, materials, and processes.
    • Ensure all tooling and design processes adhere to industry standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
    • Implement and maintain ISO, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing principles in tooling operations.
    • Promote a culture of safety and risk mitigation within the tooling department.
    • Identify and implement strategies to inspire and foster a positive team culture.
    • Provide support for ad-hoc projects and headquarters initiatives to drive organizational success.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: -

    • Qualified Tool Jig & Die Maker.
    • Experience: 10+ years of experience in tooling design, manufacturing, and maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX).
    • Strong knowledge of die-making, mold design, machining, and manufacturing processes.
    • Expertise in materials selection and heat treatment for tooling applications.
    • Industry Knowledge: Experience in high-volume manufacturing industries such as automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, or heavy engineering.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
    • Advantage with Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
    • Tooling uptime and reliability.
    • Reduction in tooling development time and costs.
    • Successful implementation of new tooling for product launches.

    Materials Coordinator

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

    • SAP Transactions (COGI, MMBE, MB51, MB52, MB1B).
    • Coois (Production Plan) Understanding of IPS Plan order to resolve COGI.
    • Analysis BOM to pick up errors – timeous reporting to close gaps.
    • Oversee the Data capturers (GRV, Backflush, Transfers) to ensure accurate information is captured timeously on SAP – critical material control.
    • Work closely with the Superintendents to investigate cycle count variances with the assistance of the Materials Manager.
    • Ascertain if there a problem on Sap and adjust figures accordingly.
    • Ensure stock on floor balances to data captured on SAP.
    • Control stock levels to target and Update purchase order actions.
    • Investigate backlog of Material and communicate to relevant stake holders.
    • Work together with finance to resolve transactions on SAP.
    • Provide Sap Training.
    • Understanding and Processing of Concession.
    • Send and follow up on information regarding Bach flushing (MMBF).
    • Streamline manual processes and implement on Sap.
    • Investigate other SAP modules and implement in the materials department. Work together with Sap consultant to implement a new module.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
    • Experience with SAP systems: Generally, at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with SAP is required. This could include using SAP modules, performing configurations, and coordinating SAP implementations or upgrades.
    • Project coordination: Experience in project management or coordination, particularly in an IT or ERP implementation context.
    • Industry-specific experience may be a plus, depending on the sector (e.g., manufacturing, finance, or logistics).
    • Skill in both verbal and written communication
