Our responsibilities are all encompassing and include supply chain management, marketing management, channel management, enterprise sales and media relations. The territory of operations comprises Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. 

Purpose of Position

Head up the Supply Chain and Planning functions.  Direct purchasing, stock management, distribution, demand planning, financial forecasting services and activities to limit costs, improve accuracy and  customer service within the wholesale business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs.
• Develops and implements a demand planning and supply chain strategy that is scalable, flexible and focuses on ensuring an exceptional customer experience in line with best practice.
• Determine capacity required in the short and medium terms.
• Is the enabler for the execution of the strategies.
• Analyse relevant business data and makes recommendations for continuous improvement to optimises inbound and outbound logistics.
• Ensures effective forecast management and solutions based on best practice.
• Ensures that important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business partners are monitored and reported.
• Create and update SOPs for all related processes.
• Collaborates across the business divisions, regions, carriers, vendors freight forwarders and other supply chain and planning partners.
• Ensures successful product launches and demand generation operational requirements.
• Drives team performance and relevant KPA reviews and ensures succession plans in place for key areas.
• Promote and develop tight integration between Supply Chain, planning, logistics and other operations areas to ensure optimized performance.
• Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
• Lead and manage complex projects within timeline and budgetary constraints across functional areas.
• Conducts project post mortems and makes recommendations on key learnings.
• Supports the business budgeting process with review of volumes submitted and demand projections.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• University degree with honours or equivalent.
• A proven track record managing supply chain and planning teams
• At least 12 - 15+ years’ work experience in a complex environment
• Strategic and operational experience
• Managed large teams
• Extensive knowledge of demand management tools and demand planning models
• Experience in African markets advantageous

The iStore Technical Support Technicians are a combination of technically strong individuals with great people skills.  

Your role would be to provide technical support to the iStore customers, through trouble shooting, resolving technical issues and software support.  You will also provide training and assistance to iStore customers when required as well as exceptional and professional quality support service.

You need to have:

• Completed Matric and IT qualification (minimum A+/N+)
• Experience in Helpdesk/1st Line Support
