    Package Consultant – SAP HANA Cutover & Data Lead

    Introduction
    As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

    Your Role and Responsibilities

    • Leads a project team in the go-live efforts, implementation and testing of an SAP HANA system.
    • Requires experience testing, configuration, implementing changes, support, integration, etc.
    • Responsible for project data migration (extraction, transformation and loading) and successful cutover from old solution to new solution on go-live date.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Strong experience in a similar position for 8 years
    • Fluent in English
    • Willing to take on challenges in new areas at new clients.

    Likely from a Solutions Architecture background (or something similar in terms of complexity) Account Technical Leaders comfortably act as trusted technical advisors to IBM and /or 3rd party Partner clients. Collaborating across pre- and post-sales teams, you’ll help set the most appropriate technology strategy and solution design to complement clients’ present and future needs.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Deep technical and architectural expertise across a variety of technologies including (but not limited to) cloud (with general container skills), business automation and infrastructure.
    • A proven leader with a history of coordinating an array of technical sales talent through demand generation, deal progression, post-close deployment, and ongoing, increasing adoption of deployed solutions.
    • Palpable people, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven record of networking, co-creating, and influencing as the technical expert throughout the successful closure, and post-closure expansion of complex technology sales cycles. (c. $100k – $1 mil+ deals).
    • Experience of successfully applying Consultative /Challenger sales techniques that ‘lead to solutions’ vs. ‘lead with solutions.
    • Solid experience of using agile and other contemporary best practices (e.g., DevOps and design thinking) to successfully deliver in a way that’s both nimble and fast.

    • Managing the entire sales process, from RFI / RFP response preparation, and ensuring delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
    • Collaborating with the broader IBM sales ecosystem, from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues, to IBM Business Partners, to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline.

    • Proven track record of success in technology sales, with emphasis on new client acquisition.
