    Customer Service Representative | MedTech | Cape Town

    Job Description

    • This position will report to the Customer Support Manager.

    Area of Responsibility

    • Processing of orders received through Orderwise, Surgicom and email within our Service Level Agreement of 24hours;
    • Liaising with customers telephonically and on email;
    • Dealing with Sales Consultants regarding queries, requests, sales orders, kits etc.;
    • Releasing back orders, should it be requested;
    • Sending invoices of consignment orders received to the customer and the Sales Consultant;
    • Replace consignment stock used to customer;
    • Action movement of stock when collection/delivery was arranged;
    • Allocating stock for orders;
    • Preparing pro-forma invoices;
    • General administrative duties including regular filing;
    • Arranging collections and deliveries by completing the required template and sending it to Logistics to arrange;
    • Following up on collections and delivery requests;
    • Obtaining the necessary approval for credits to be passed;
    • Credits and re invoices to be done on the same day;
    • Booking out kits if required;
    • Assisting with after hours emergency call if required;
    • Removing consignment items invoiced from QWIX;
    • Investigating errors on QWIX transfers done by Sales Consultants;
    • Checking stock availability for Sales Consultants;
    • Applying transfers on QWIX;
    • Generating quotes for Midsouth;
    • Invoicing Government orders and invoice according to tender pricing;
    • Generating ROE list and submitting ROE’s monthly;
    • Removing and Invoicing items from WIP;
    • C6 Replenishment weekly.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement;
    • A tertiary qualification would be a definite advantage.

    Experience required

    • Previous experience in Customer Support of at least 3 years is essential;
    • Experience in a Medical Environment preferable
    • Strong Communication Skills;

    Skills and Competencies

    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (advanced); MS Word and Outlook is essential;
    • Proficiency in Syspro;
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) especially in English;
    • Excellent organizational skills;
    • Good telephone skills;
    • Accuracy is essential;
    • Team player;
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;

    • We are seeking a Sales Representative based in Johannesburg North.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in compound pharmacy, a strong sales track record, and the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team with a strong footprint across the continent.
    • The Sales Representative will drive revenue by building strong customer relationships, identifying needs, and offering tailored product solutions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Sales Lead Management

    • Proactively capture, qualify, and manage all incoming sales leads.
    • Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries.

    CRM & Sales Process

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including call cycles and customer interactions.
    • Monitor lead conversion rates and refine sales strategies to improve performance.
    • Update the project tracker weekly, maintaining a minimum of five active projects in the pipeline

    Sales Performance & Target Achievement

    • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
    • Drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.
    • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

    New Business Development

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.

    Pipeline & Forecast Management

    • Manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow.
    • Provide reliable sales forecasts and insights to support business planning.

    Order & Inventory Coordination

    • Follow up on stock availability and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve supply chain or order-related issues.

    Requirements

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and patient approach to customer interactions.
    • Ability to explain technical products clearly and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and sales abilities.
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships that consistently convert into sales.
    • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Minimum qualification: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
    • Post-secondary education (college or university) is advantageous but not essential.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, distribution, or logistics—preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or a related sector.
    • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting sales targets and effectively managing customer relationships.

    • We are looking for a highly driven and technically astute Area Manager whose primary responsibility will be sales and new business development across heavy industries, including mining, petrochemical, power generation, and related sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong existing network in these industries and a track record of success in technical B2B sales.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and Richards Bay areas.

    Responsibilities

    • Actively hunt and develop new business opportunities across relevant sectors.
    • Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
