KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Duties include but will not be limited to:

• Maintain and Review cash book for both Rand and CFC accounts, perform monthly bank account reconciliations for entities in the Sea Harvest Group
• Prepare & Manage ad hoc EFT payments.
• Prepare income tax schedules for tax returns disclosure purposes for all entities in the Sea Harvest Group
• Maintenance of petty cash
• Maintenance of fixed asset register/fixed assets administration
• Administer and maintain Forward exchange contracts
• Update daily exchange rates on financial system.
• Prepare monthly general journals including Interest calculations for various loans
• Prepare and maintain monthly GL recons including intercompany recharges
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Other ad hoc accounting and administrative duties

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• BCom degree with major in Accounting
• 5+ years’ experience in GL entries, cashbook and intercompany entries would be preferable
• Computer literacy – MS Office (With a high proficiency in MS Excel).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
