    Stoma Nurse (Pretoria)

    Major Areas of Accountability

    Represent Coloplast as a Clinical Expert

    • Maintain professional credentials and education to maintain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.
    • Act as a clinical liaison to ostomates with regards to planned surgical procedure, impact of living with a stoma and ostomy care.
    • Support in-hospital stoma clinics in conjunction with hospital employed staff.
    • Set up and new support centres for end users.
    • Deliver education to a diverse group of internal and external customers as well as end users.
    • Attend approved national and regional conferences and tradeshows as a Coloplast representative.
    • Report back to senior leadership key clinical learnings and opportunities.

    Essential Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree.
    • 1+ years’ experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users.
    • Previous medical industry experiences an asset.
    • National and domestic travel required.
    • Must permanently reside in Gauteng.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Effective written and presentation skills.
    • Ability to read, analyse and interpret clinical publications.
    • Proven success with organization and time management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

    Continence Advisor - Sandton

    What will you be responsible for?

    • Training on the technique of Self-Intermittent catheterisation of pts according to the referral HCP script
    • Patient education on the importance of a bladder routine
    • Getting the supporting documentation from referring HCP for medical aid submission
    • Providing the referring Specialist or HCP with feedback regarding the progress of the patient referred.
    • Submission of complete document packs to Care within 72 hours of receipt of Doctor’s documentation Clinical health checks to ensure patients remain compliant to the bladder protocol prescribed, as per Coloplast Protocols. Patient education on the prevention, identification and management of Urinary Tract Infections
    • Establishment of good working relationship with the referring Specialists and HCP’s
    • Reporting of Coloplast activities on Sales Force e.g logging of healthchecks
    • Completion of tasks as issued by the Consumer Team according to the deadlines set
    • Support of the Sales Developer during product training in the key accounts
    • Facilitation of Patient days, as laid out per the Annual Business Plan.
    • Attendance of Coloplast meetings, workshops and functions
    • Maintaining correct patient records and the submission of these according to Coloplast systems
    • Completion of necessary reports to the Nursing Team lead, within the dead-lines set

    Essential Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree in Nursing, or equivalent Tertiary Education
    • Registration with South African Nursing Council (Current)

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Anatomy Physiology and Pathophysiology of the Urinary System
    • Knowledge on how to use Outlook
    • Knowledge on how to use Word
    • Ability to read a clinical study and to be able to apply the knowledge gained in their daily practice.
    • 3 -5 years of relevant working experience in a similar function

    HR Specialist - Sandton

    Major Areas of Accountability (not limited to)

    Staff Recruitment, Terminations and People Cycle

    • Facilitation of the recruitment and termination process of employees
    • Submit online job postings, screening, shortlist candidates, and schedule job interviews 
    • Maintain records of all positions filled including candidates screened, interviewed and references obtained for relevant candidates 
    • Prepare employment contract for approval
    • Send out new employee and HR Induction documents for all recruits
    • Ensuring that all recruits are loaded onto all HR related systems
    • Coordinate all business tool requirements with Business Support including setup of equipment as per new employee checklist
    • Send out termination documents for all resigned employees
    • Ensure terminated employees return all business tools as per termination checklist
    • Remove terminated employees from all HR related systems

    Payroll

    • Prepare input data and payroll file within agreed timeframes for submission to HRBP
    • Ensure monthly earnings, deductions and company contributions are accurate and reconcile to supporting documents
    • Maintain monthly payroll input data soft copies on access-controlled payroll server
    • Upload salary payment file to SharePoint for approval
    • Issue payslips to employees monthly
    • Respond to employee inquiries, provide required information using available resources, follow up calls where necessary. Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
    • Prepare all payroll related compliance submissions on behalf of the employees and the employer

    Compliance

    • Active participation in the company’s BBBEE strategy (Meeting Governance for BBBEE)
    • Plan, organise and coordinate requirements for BBBEE certificate renewal with appointed service provider to ensure that BBBEE certificate is renewed before expiration date
    • Ensure effective administration of training programs for staff and suggest training initiatives in line with the company’s BBBEE strategy
    • Custodian and advocate of the HR Policies by driving awareness around correct processes 
    • As a member of the Employment Equity Committee ensure Employment Equity compliance
    • Advocate for the best practise for all HR related processes 
    • Ensure all statutory deadlines are met including but not limited to Employment Equity report, Skills Development (WSP/ATR) and Workman’s Compensation submissions 

    HR

    • Ensure that employees are updated on all HR initiatives and projects via the intranet, email and/or any other relevant platform
    • Responsible for maintenance of personal files and records in hard and soft copy
    • Staff communication e.g. Birthdays and other celebratory events 
    • Accurately process transactions and maintain the company’s HR Software to ensure effective management of employee data.
    • Responsible for the running routine query and/or HR related ad hoc reports 
    • Prepare monthly staff headcount report and maintain company organogram
    • Any other adhoc requirements from HRBP

    Essential Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Related field 
    • 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred 
    • Previous Payroll Processing and Compliance knowledge 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook,  Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Demonstrate effective time management skills, administrative capabilities and effective written and oral communication capabilities
    • Working knowledge of common human resources and payroll practices

    Sales Developer (Incontinence Care) Western Cape

    Your key responsibilities will be

    • Supports the growth of the IC market by engaging with HCP’s in all targeted accounts ensuring that they will influence the prescription of HCIC for new and existing users and ensuring enrolment into our Direct Model or via approved distributors
    • Identify opportunities where our nurses can help HCPs change clinical practice using clinical evidence and local guidelines.
    • Identify patient organisations we might want to partner with (QASA, SBAHA)
    • Identify venues and locations for building New IC clinics

    • Knowledgeable of competitor activity and sales volume in each targeted account.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships that lead to increasing use of products within target accounts.
    • Clear understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge.
    • Provides feedback and requests to Marketing or to the organization to adapt tools/strategies to the market demand.
    • Develop and maintain productive cross-functional relationships to share knowledge and leverage synergies within the organization.

    Professional qualifications

    • We are looking for an experienced, individual who has skills to identify and build business opportunities with key opinion leaders and key accounts in the medical device industry
    • Bachelor degree required – ideally science based degree.
    • Minimum 3 years demonstrated successful sales experience (medical field strongly preferred).
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
