    Data Protection & Privacy Manager

    Job description

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Manager in our Cyber Security practice you will already be working as a DPP practitioner. You will lead engagements and manage teams to deliver DPP programmes, often with limited supervision. You will not be expected to have significant experience of business development and sales but will be expected to identify opportunities, supporting the Senior Manager community in go-to-market and sales activity to win new business for the team. You need to be a highly motivated, a good communicator and be able to convey technical content in business language with senior management. You willalso need to be a team player who is not only looking to enhance their own career, but recognises the value in developing others and strengthening the team. You will have the following responsibilities:

    • Leading a portfolio of DPP engagements with our clients, reporting to a Senior Manager, responsible for the day-to-day running of engagements and the quality of the team?s output
    • Managing and drafting reports and via reviews, ensuring the highest quality deliverables prior to Senior Manager?s review
    • Contributing to continued development ofthe market for DPP services across all sectors and identify sales opportunities and escalating these to senior management
    • Establishing solid client relationships with senior stakeholders
    • Working with prospective clients to agree, scope and plan delivery phase of engagements
    • Contributing to the creation of proposals and marketing material
    • Managing engagements to time and budget
    • Contributing to the development of the existing DPP team acting as mentor and coach to the junior members of the team and leading by example

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 to 7 years experience related to DPP
    • Experience in scoping, planning and delivering on DPP engagements is critical.
    • Information and Cyber Security skills and experience is essential for this role.
    • Experience in Auditing/Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is advantageous, although some of our strongest performers come directly from industry therefore candidates with excellent industry experience and demonstrable success managing DPP transformation work-streams and proven experience of conducting cyber discussions with senior management are also encouraged to apply.
    • Strong analytical skills and good project management skills including budget management
