Position Synopsis

 

The purpose of this role is to conduct general Production and Productivity related reporting at Wessels Mine.

 

Requirements

• Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics together with a Certificate/Diploma Administration with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an equivalent position.
• Advanced skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio) is essential;
• Data analysis and reporting skills is essential;
• Valid Drivers license is essential.
• Prior knowledge of South32 reporting systems will be advantageous.
• MS SQL Query writing and reporting and knowledge of MS SQL report performance tuning is essential
• Own method of transport to and from work is essential
• Advanced skills and proficiency in report building

 

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Conduct continuous hazard identification and risk assessment within a workplace;
• Compile Results and Progress Management (RPM's) meetings packs;
• Report writing report performance tuning
• Manage documentation and records within the OCC and A&I Quality Management Systems;
• Comply with requirements of the A&I Quality Management System;
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly Production and Productivity reports;
• Update Wessels communication display screens with relevant content daily.
• Update Electronic Boards displaying Production information on Site.

Position Synopsis

 

The purpose of this role is to safely develop, cut, fabricate/assemble, weld and maintain plant equipment and structures.

 

Requirements

• Serious contenders will have N2 Technical Certificate (Internal Employees) / N3 Technical Certificate (external candidates) together with a recognized Boilermaker Trade Test with a maximum of 2 years’ technical experience as a qualified boilermaker in a mining environment.
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s License is essential;
• Knowledge of SAP is essential.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Complete hard copies of Job Cards and Capture on SAP;
• Provide input into maintenance Task Lists;
• Report deviations observed during inspections so as to ensure proper planning prior to execution;
• Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
• Accesses any area safely to perform necessary maintenance on machines or equipment;
• Performs safely inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment;
• Maintains a clean and safe worksite;
• Ensures the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment;
• Coordinates activities associated with troubleshooting and repairing maintenance equipment.
