Job description

Pioneer Foods seek a suitably Manager Financial I at their Essential Foods, Shakaskraal Bakery. The successful candidate will supervise the accounting function of a unit(s). Responsible for the maintenance of a unit(s) accounting and financial practices / policies. Liaises with unit(s) in preparation of budgets and financial reports. Other functions can include, internal audits, training, master data maintenance, financial process control, and authorization control. Normally reports to Functional or Unit Manager .

SPECIFIC OUTPUTS

Analysed and reported financial performance against benchmarks and performed accounting procedures. Managed working capital and planned, co-ordinated & compiled annual ops & capital budgets. Verified monthly income, balance sheet & cash flow statements and planned, co-ordinated & compiled monthly reports. Developed unit financial procedures and trained employees on financial systems, policies & procedures. Managed internal financial authorizations, systems and audits and managed own team.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 6 years financial experience in FMCG environment.
• Computer literacy (MS Advanced Excel / Word / SAP / SAP Business Intelligence Portal).
• Ability to work under pressure, accurately and independently.

QUALIFICATION

Post Graduate Degree in Finance.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Computer skills including SAP, MS Office Word / Excel, SAP Business Intelligence Portal. Knowledge of working capital and planning - co-ordinate and compile annual ops and capital budgets. Knowledge of Financial management reporting. Knowledge of Team Management.
