Solutions Architect at Silica

Main purpose of the Job: (Specific Description of the job)                                        

• The Core team requires a senior solutions architect that will be able to work under pressure and support current and business initiatives.
• The potion will require supportive and skill sharing working with the business and external vendors on many multi-faceted projects, conforming to Agile SCRUM timelines.
• The applicant needs to be self-motivated, self-managed and have the ability to learn new OPEN SOURCE technologies on the fly.
• The applicant MUST have strong LINUX/UNIX skills.

Prior Work Experience / Background:

• Knowledge of / experience within the financial services industry (preferably investment banking) advantageous.

• Shell Scripting languages including RUBY/ Groovy/MML/ Java Script/ Nodejs

• Working knowledge and underrating of JBPM/ BPM

• DROOLS and JBPM reports
