Assist the Chief Audit Executive and IT Audit Manager with the preparing of Risk based Audit Plans pertaining to the environment.
Conduct preliminary survey to understand the computerized information system environment of the organization.
Conduct and supervise IT audits per the audit program.
Prepare and review working papers for completeness and accuracy.
Compile the audit file in accordance with the Quality Assurance standards.
Ensure that audit work performed complied with IIA and ISACA standards.
Prepare audit reports for submission to the manager.
Assist audit manager with providing audit file and evidence for the external auditors in areas where reliance is placed.
Perform data analysis on data downloaded in order to achieve audit objectives.
Advice management to develop and implement cost effective solutions to address IT internal control issues during systems effectiveness and IT governance.
Assist management with identifying and mitigating risks on various system development projects.
Implement concepts and techniques learnt from training and ensure that the training is not wasted.
Ensure that RAF interest, values and ethics are upheld when dealing with stakeholders.
Provide assurance and recommend controls in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and National Treasury frameworks.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in IT or Accounting.
CISA is essential.
SAP qualifications/ certifications would be an advantage.
Other certifications (such as CGEIT, CRISC or CISM) will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 4 years IT Audit experience of which at least 1 year should be at a supervisory level.
Experience gained in a large State Owned Company and/or auditing/advisory firm.
SAP auditing experience essential.
Data analytics experience essential.
Network security/vulnerable testing experience will be an advantage.
Experience using Teammate to document audit work will be an advantage.
Technical and behavioral competencies required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Project management and organizational skills.
Report Writing and Presentation skills.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
