Minimum Academic And Job Requirements

• a matric certificate;
• a good Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Administration or relevant fields.
• at least six years in marketing, professional liaison, project coordination, management and administration of academic programmes within a university environment is a pre-requisite;
• proven experience working with Oracle (Short Courses and Finance), MS Office especially Excel and database management software, business media platforms (eg LinkedIn) and website content management; and
• ability and willingness to work with a team, with minimum supervision and to work after hours for evening events when necessary.

Knowledge Skills And Attitude

• excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• ability to work under pressure and deadlines;
• good computer literacy with strong Oracle, MS Office suite skills, social and business media, and website content maintenance;
• excellent presentation skills, delegation and client relations skills;
• strong interpersonal skills;
• excellent administrative and organisational skills; and
• knowledge of the university systems, Oracle system and relevant programme development and approval policies of the university.

Additional Requirements

• ideally at least six years’ experience in business development and programme management. Three of which must be at a middle managerial level in a university academic environment; and
• knowledge of the executive learning and development sector.
