    Trade Development Representative

    Job description

    Purpose of the job

    • Maximize sales, distribution and visibility of Philip Morris brands in the covered territory by putting the consumer at the forefront when executing the plans.
    • Establish and maintain effective, professional relations with the trade partners to ensure business growth. Dimensions Volume (sticks, tons, shrinks, units). Accountabilities Sales Fundamentals
    • Coverage and Call rate. Regularly update database and design route plan for sales-cycles in order to achieve efficient numeric and weighted territory coverage. Achieve the set coverage targets & call rate to ensure that all trade channels in territory are visited during each sales cycle.
    • Product availability & handling. Ensure optimal availability objectives are consistent with overall PMSA strategy Achieve agreed handling targets Monitoring SOH & ROS, and influence orders to reduce OOS. Where necessary use boot sales to correct OOS situations.
    • Product & POSM visibility Negotiate and implement planograms, maximizing share of space according to merchandising guidelines. Negotiate PPOSM and TPOSM placement according to segmentation and as per cycle specific objectives, ensuring cost effective use of PMSA resources to capitalize on opportunities. Proactively seek opportunities and maximise the use of all visibility tools (PPOSM & TPOSM) at your disposal to build high quality visual executions of PMSA brands. Skills & Competence

    Education

    • High/Second. School
    • Tertiary education in business related field an advantage. Work Experience
    • Recent graduate or 1 - 3 years working experience an advantage Functional Skills Work Skills
    • Computer literacy - Microsoft office and Ipad
    • Good negotiation & sales skills
    • Clean driving license (3 year)
    • Planning skills
