Job description
Bosch Projects, a member of the multi-disciplinary Bosch Holdings established in 1961, has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer. This position will be based in the Cape Town Office and reporting directly to the Regional Director.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing entire projects and project teams from inception to completion, including client interface
Support the Lead Engineer in design functions
Perform engineering functions efficiently in support of the project planning and / or design team
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Ensure compliance with Bosch Projects ISO 9001/2008 QMS System
Ensure that Quality Standards are achieved and maintained.
The ideal Candidate should:
Must be registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA
Have own transport and valid driver’s license
Have a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience of which a minimum of 5 years must have been spent on Municipal
Engineering Services, focusing predominantly on road networks and designs
Have technical and design competence in municipal road designs, water & sewer network designs (bulk and distribution)
Have experience in administering contracts as the Engineer, growing client relationships and workload
Have experience in contract administration and management of construction monitoring teams
Be capable of functioning independently and as part of a project team.
Experience in major road projects (District / Provincial) would be advantageous.
