Bosch Projects, a member of the multi-disciplinary Bosch Holdings established in 1961, has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer. This position will be based in the Cape Town Office and reporting directly to the Regional Director.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing entire projects and project teams from inception to completion, including client interface

   

• Support the Lead Engineer in design functions

   

• Perform engineering functions efficiently in support of the project planning and / or design team

   

• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

   

• Ensure compliance with Bosch Projects ISO 9001/2008 QMS System

• Ensure that Quality Standards are achieved and maintained.

The ideal Candidate should:

• Have a BSc Civil Engineering / BEng Civil Engineering / N.Dip (civil)

   

• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSA

   

• Have own transport and valid driver’s license

   

• Have a minimum of 8 years post qualification experience of which a minimum of 5 years must have been spent on Municipal

• Engineering Services, focusing predominantly on road networks and designs

   

• Have technical and design competence in municipal road designs, water & sewer network designs (bulk and distribution)

   

• Have experience in administering contracts as the Engineer, growing client relationships and workload

   

• Have experience in contract administration and management of construction monitoring teams

   

• Be capable of functioning independently and as part of a project team.

   

• Experience in major road projects (District / Provincial) would be advantageous.
