    Deputy Industrial Manager

    Job description

    Purpose of the Job

    Gibela supplies a 600-trains fleet with Technical Support and Spare Supply over 19 years to his customer. The fleet will be spread in 5 depots with 4 different configurations. Gibela will set-up 3 mains repairs centre to address the corrective and preventive maintenance.

    In the continuity of the mobilisation phase, this position consist in deploying the Maintenance industrial strategy, to develop industrialisation process and deliver optimum solutions for production systems that maximise the utilisation of tools, systems, and resources within Gibela organisation, with due regard to budgeted costs and safety compliance

    Mission
    Responsibilities And Accountabilities

    • Repair Center
    • Define and manage the industrial footprint for repair and overhaul activities
    • Set up the first repair workshops for mechanical and electronic part component.
    • Reception and commissioning of the repairs tools.
    • Secure the infrastructure in conformance with EHS rules
    • Plan and organize the ramp-up activity for the repair centers including potential external business.
    • Optimization of CAPEX
    • Process Industrialization
    • Deploy the industrial local processes & layout (SOS, task sequence, workstation organization) following the Make or Buy Business Case decisions.
    • Ensure proper execution of industrial strategy in the operation
    • Set the local standards & deployment plan and ensure homogeneous deployment
    • Prepare, revise & challenge the overall capacity (equipment follow up & people workload)
    • Data Industrialization
    • Be actor of the industrial data management: GSI industrial data set up (parts, tools, BOM, routing…)
    • In charge of the configuration management: set up configuration data, change management implementation (impact on processes & means), handover/delivery data management, derogation management

    Performance & Efficiency

    • Drive performance improvement & efficiency while reducing wastes (productivity plan follow up, method time evolution recording, workstation optimization…)
    • Industrial KPI dashboard : ensure reporting, define & roll out the local action plan, ensure implementation on the field
    • Make sure to apply the right footprint & make or buy solution, based on Industrial recommendation
    • Prepare the CAPEX request & follow up the site investment program
    • Continuous Improvement & APSYS
    • Lead Services Industrial Excellence & Continuous improvement program in the unit
    • Train, deploy & animate on the site the CI
    • Depot and Warranty
    • To support warranty activity in PRASA depot under the direction of the PrWM.
    • Contribute to the AZDP deployment in the PRASA depot in collaboration with the Depot manager, PrWM and Client
    • Reception of the tooling necessary to perform the warranty duty
    • Optimize warranty coverage within the depots
    • Support the Reliability Growth campaign.
    • Take over the industrial manager during his absence.

    Measurement

    • Macro planning of the project respect of the schedule (OTIF)
    • Implement the Industrial KPI to follow up activity (Productivity, Non Value Added time reduction, Time to Repair, Saturation, APSYS, IFR, CAPEX execution …)
    • Improvement of Labour LCC
    • Faster mobilisation and industrialisation
    • QCD of the Industrial WP

    Candidate Requirements

    Educational Requirements

    Minimum of Engineering degree / Equivalent or relevant experience.

    Experience

    • Industrial expertise
    • Project management (or technical project management).
    • Process development and optimization
    • Preferably Component or Rolling stock operations/maintenance.
    • Strong ability to manage teams
    • Demonstrated skill in team building and people development.
    • Budget setting and control.
    • Problem solving

    Desired Knowledge

    • Minimum of ten years’ experience in industrial management.
    • Project planning and Project management skill and experience.
    • Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
    • Rail safety and railways standards knowledge preferred
    • LCC/RAMS experience is a plus
