Looking for an Industrial Engineer (BEng/BSc Degree ONLY) to lead as the Operations Excellence Manager for a leading Supply Chain & Logistics consulting giant. (KZN)

The core focus of the role is implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout various business units, through LEAN or KAIZEN methodologies. This is a senior role and requires a change agent to bring about the improvements throughout the business. Strong succession plan for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Develop implement LEAN methodologies and roll out to various business units, manage the change within the divisions throughout the entire KZN region
• Look after continuous improvement, improving operations excellence and cost reductions
• Conduct training of KAIZEN to upskill each business unit in order for them to improve their internal solution development
• Measure and report on financial benefits of various improvement projects in order to show the value

Requirements:

• Strictly BEng/BSc Degree in Industrial Engineering
• LEAN Six Sigma
• KAIZEN
• 3 Years’ experience implementing Operations Excellence initiatives (Must have experience in Heavy Industries)
• Change management & exceptional business acumen required
