Develop and implement Supply Chain optimization solutions for clients across various industries. Build client relationships through adding value through cost/time saving solutions. This is a commercial role that will give yu exposure to working with Executive clients on an international level.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse client Supply Chains across various industries, interpret findings and develop suitable cost/optimization solutions for the client
• Present solutions to clients on a senior level in order to show the value proposition of the proposed solution
• Build strong client relationships and leverage these relationships in order to grow the international business
• Use in house software for certain solutions that look at optimising inventory
• Complete costing of solutions for clients in order to show the COST vs VALUE of the solution

Requirements:

• 6 - 8 years’ experience within a similar role Strictly BEng/BSc Industrial Engineering degree (Must be from and Academic University)
• 0 – 4 Years’ experience in a consulting environment
• Excellent communication skills

Advanced Excel, Powerpoint
Commercial acumen and strong Supply Chain Knowledge is a requirement

Looking for a Rail Logistics Manager to join a leading Manufacturing company. This is a senior position looking after the group logistics.
This role looks after the operational logistics function in a manufacturing environment dealing with raw materials. Construction/Manufacturing experience is an added advantage. Lead the strategic and operational logistics within the group of companies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to improve on the day to day operations, production and logistics but looking at improving processes and procedures
• Manage a large team of logistics professionals, focussing on the inbound and outbound logistics
• Manage and negotiate SLA’s with third party service providers, ensuring that supplier KPI’s are met
• Conduct feasibility studies, ensure that stock levels are optimized and stock outs are minimized

Looking for an Industrial Engineer (BEng/BSc Degree ONLY) to lead as the Operations Excellence Manager for a leading Supply Chain & Logistics consulting giant. (KZN)

The core focus of the role is implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout various business units, through LEAN or KAIZEN methodologies. This is a senior role and requires a change agent to bring about the improvements throughout the business. Strong succession plan for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Develop implement LEAN methodologies and roll out to various business units, manage the change within the divisions throughout the entire KZN region
• Look after continuous improvement, improving operations excellence and cost reductions
• Conduct training of KAIZEN to upskill each business unit in order for them to improve their internal solution development
• Measure and report on financial benefits of various improvement projects in order to show the value

Requirements:

• Strictly BEng/BSc Degree in Industrial Engineering
• LEAN Six Sigma
• KAIZEN
• 3 Years’ experience implementing Operations Excellence initiatives (Must have experience in Heavy Industries)
