Job Summary Statement Aveng Manufacturing Dynamic Fluid Control a Manufacturer of various types of valves and is a major supplier to both the South African and international markets.Aveng Manufacturing Dynamic Fluid Control is a business unit of the Aveng Group which actively pursues extensive global interests encompassing the building, construction, engineering, mining,
manufacturing and steel processing industries.
The incumbent will be responsible to provide Material Requirement Planning and to provide support to Operations and Supply Chain Management, including: Sales and Operations (S&OP) Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and inventory Optimisation.
Minimum Requirements ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
- An Industrial Engineering B Tech/Degree in Operations Management/ Production Management
- Must have completed a CPIM qualification
Experience
- At least 5 Years – Production planning experience in the manufacturing industry
- Management of stock levels and materials planning experience is essential
Duties & Responsibilities Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Provide procurement with accurate purchasing requirements
- Provide production with accurate and detailed planning information
- Provide the sales team with accurate costing and planned delivery information
- Ensure compliance with all SHEQ policies, procedures and standards
- Ensure efficient and effective planning of production to ensure that the business and customer requirements are met
- Ensure that planning is done to ensure that available resources can meet the business and customer needs and

- Evaluate current capacity to determine the limits of available resources and processes

- Knowledge Skills & Abilities Must have good analytic skills
- Must be able to pay attention to detail
- Must be able to communicate at all levels within the Company
- Business Systems such as ERP Systems is an advantage
