To support our continued growth, Webhelp is recruiting a Chief Commercial Officer - for our business in South Africa. Working with a highly dynamic leadership team, in a business that has and is continuing to grow significantly, this position will be sought to continue to develop the addressable markets, both locally and internationally. Based in either Cape Town or Johannesburg and paying a salary of up to Two Million Rand per annum plus benefits.

Your New Role

• Working for Webhelp you will act as a senior leader for the Webhelp UK Commercial function based in South Africa. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (SA, India and the UK), you will form part of the senior leadership group and will be a member of the CCL (Connected, Leaders) Leadership Team. Your main focus will be ensuring that Webhelp achieves its business and commercial objectives for the Africa Region and representing Webhelp to external stakeholders.

As a Chief Commercial Officer what will your responsibilities be?

• You will take full accountability for the positive execution of addressing foreign direct investors and prospective clients, seeking to consider South Africa as a premier offshore service delivery geography. Have primary responsibility for building and delivering the Webhelp South Africa business development plan, solutions deployment, acquisition strategy, public relations and marketing plan, estate strategy and building close professional relationships with relevant external stakeholders.

• You will be responsible for driving the short and long term South African expansion and growth plans and negotiation of major client outcomes, participating in the preparation of the business plans for the company.

As a Chief Commercial Officer - what will your skills and experience be?

• Minimum of 5-10 years of business process outsourcing (BPO) sector experience and or understanding the key aspects of commercialising a business
• Appropriate business acumen skills and experience inclusive of a Degree or MBA
• Exceptional levels of communication skills, interpersonal skills and strong levels of emotional intelligence with the ability to work in teams and autonomously
• Significant commercial and business experience at “C” level and Board Level
• The ability to handle high levels of pressure and execute critical decision making
• Extensive expertise in building and maintaining professional, senior strategic relationships and associated resulting business growth
• Experience of managing, leading and developing senior director level
