- Assist with the architecture, design, implementation, maintenance and daily support of back-office as well as client-facing systems in the Crisis Response Management Centre in Cape Town
- Develop applications using the full Software Development Lifecycle Maintenance and support of existing operational systems
- Document and test new systems to ensure error free code
Key requirements:
- Relevant IT Degree or Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience working with OO programming or web programming (PHP or .NET)
- Proven ability to write good quality code
- Experience working with Relational Databases (preferably MYSQL or PostGresql)
- Experience working with Internet related technologies
- Experience providing estimates for work tasks
- Experience working in a software product company and have developed product(s) that successfully shipped
- Experience working with a mature Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline, preferably for cloud-hosted products
- Experience working in an Agile software development/SCRUM environment
