    Senior Systems Engineer (FTC)

    Job Purpose

    • To provide the technical skills to support the optimal management and operation of all Microsoft and VMware server infrastructure hardware / firmware / operating system / application server software updates and fixes in the various SARS production and non-production environments, whilst maintaining hardware/ operating system / application server software, meeting service levels agreements through a Service Management System.

    Legal Debt Collector (Tax) - (Fixed Term Contract)

    Job Purpose

    • To enforce the collection of debt from Voluntary Disclosure Agreements, to ensure taxpayer compliance to various tax types.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

    • National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) in Law, Accounting or Taxation (NQF 6) AND 2 - 3 years’ experience in a Debt Collection Environment of which 1 - 2 years at a knowledge worker level

    Alternatively

    • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 5 years Debt Management experience in a Debt Collection Environment, of which 1 - 2 years at a knowledge worker level

    • Analyse, negotiate, prepare and present the requests for a deferral of payment/compromise settlement from the taxpayer to the relevant Debt Committee and notify the taxpayer of the outcome.
    • Monitor payments against the deferral/ compromise agreement and secure updates to the journals and closure of case file upon payment in full.
    • Monitor legislation compliance throughout the Business Rescue processes and ensure payments received where required.
    • Participate in debt collection from projects as selected.

    Auditor: Compliance Audit - Fixed Term Contract

    Job Purpose

    • To plan and conduct standard audits or verification on a risk profile basis to ensure compliance.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

    • Relevant National Diploma [Auditing, Accounting and Taxation] or Degree or Advanced Certificate (NQF6) and 2-3 years' experience in a similar [Tax Auditing or Assessment Maintenance] environment, of which 1-2 years at knowledge worker level OR
    • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) with a minimum of 5 years Tax Auditing experience or Assessment Maintenance experience of which 1-2 years at knowledge worker level
