    Senior Software Engineer

    Job description

    The opportunity that awaits you:

    A exceptional opportunity within a leading international telecommunications company, for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of vision built on social upliftment and responsibility. Based within their Cape Town offices, this opportunity will present the candidate with a unique ability to manage the development of a platform that needs to cater for huge volumes that are growing at an exponential level.

    Your key responsibilities:

    • Platform design, implementation and support
    • Engagement with architectural and technical stakeholders
    • Drive agile project planning methodology

    Our required expertise:

    • Honors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or other related fields
    • Full SDLC experience
    • Solid development language skill set (Ruby, Python, Java or C++)
    • Experience with Linux or MacOS will be an advantage
    • Solid experience working across an Agile development environment
    • Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts
