Associate Product Manager at Impact Radius, Inc.

Job description

The Role:

 

The Product Associate will design, develop, deploy, and gain adoption on key components of the Impact Radius product suite. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The position works closely with other Product Managers and the Head of Product Management to ensure that the components developed adequately supports the product suite and aligns with the company's overall strategy. This is a collaborative role that works closely with Engineering, UI/UX, QA, and Product Marketing while soliciting feedback from and producing training materials for Sales, Customer Success, Technical Support, and the rest of the company.

 

 

The position is expected to be able to influence stakeholders and actors across the company without formal authority and in-line with the company and departmental goals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Perform customer research and meet with customers to understand customer needs and build customer “empathy” early in the product life-cycle

• Become an expert of the Impact Radius platform

• Analyze the competitive market landscape

• Be responsible for setting priorities for teams

• Coordinate the development process from a product perspective

• Construct and update the team roadmap

• Create specifications for new features and epics

• Perform research into new opportunities for disruption

• Solicit product feedback, insight, and input from internal stakeholders

• Train and inform staff on new features and functionality

 

Requirements:

 

• Demonstrated success participating in the definition, management, and launch of excellent software products

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Marketing with strong technical knowledge of software development and understanding of business processes and the competitive landscape for software products

• Minimum of 1–3 years work experience in business and/or technical roles

• Strong understanding of technology systems and software development including system architecture, code-writing and version control

• Ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and speak the same language

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

• Passionate about technology and privy to cutting-edge trends in the industry

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Experience building web applications using HTML, CSS and/or Javascript

• Excellent time management skills

• Strong written and oral skills

• High attention to detail
