Actuarial Analyst – Balance Sheet Management (Non-Life) at Network Recruitment

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Enhance and maintain models for IFRS reserving, capital adequacy, and solvency (SCR, SAM, Technical Provisions)
• Play a key role in capital projections for ORSA and dividend planning
• Deliver on regulatory reporting timelines—monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure actuarial accuracy
• Support the development and automation of actuarial tools, driving process improvements
• Contribute to IFRS 17 modelling for both LRC and LIC components
• Get involved in capital optimization strategies that go beyond compliance into smart business

What You Bring:

• A degree in Actuarial Science
• Minimum 3 years’ actuarial experience in the non-life insurance sector
• Steady progress toward FASSA qualification
• Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working across MS Office
• Strong SQL knowledge, with solid experience in model building
• Confident programming skills (intermediate to advanced level)
• In-depth understanding of SCR components under local prudential standards
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in cell captives or handled non-life valuations
• Familiarity with IFRS 4, IFRS 17, the Insurance Act, and other key regulations
